The insurgency conducted last night by the GOP field in standing up to biased, sneering questions from CNBC’s panel has stung the NBC Universal (and parent Comcast) empire deeply enough that it is striking back. Ken Shepherd at Newsbusters reports:
"This got a little revolting tonight," MSNBC's Chris Matthews lamented to colleague Chris Jansing in a post-debate special edition of Hardball Wednesday night. Matthews was chagrined with Republican Sens. Ted Cruz (Texas) and Marco Rubio (Fla.) scoring points with debate audience by attacking the liberal media. "I thought that the candidates were trying to get votes, and they were using that initiative to take it out on the moderators," Matthews added, complaining that they were "taking it out" on them, as though the moderators were asking completely above-board, unbiased questions.
This morning, on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, a similar line was pursued, with even nominal Republican Joe Scarborough hewing to the party line that the GOP field was pathetic.
Nice try, NBC. You’ve disgraced yourselves, and the jig is up. Even mainstream media pundits see it.

I of course new this was a socialist set up and would not give them one minute of my time watching the debacle!
Chrissie should know who’s “revolting” or not. His leg-tingle love of Obama is revolting.
How dare anybody stand up to the leftist media establishment! Revolting.
The MSM is the enemy and that includes Mathews. All the candidates need to take it to the media like Cruz did...he changed the whole course of the debate last night and won it hands down.
Mathews is a great poster child for the radical left DemocRat party. Pure stupidity, pure anti-American, and totally devoid of ethics, shame, objectivity. And this DemocRat hack gets paid for what he does....amazing. They will do ANYTHING to take focus off of Hitlery and her crimes....
Then let Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter run the Democratic debate.
“I thought that the candidates were trying to get votes, and they were using that initiative to take it out on the moderators,” Matthews added,
Um, Chrissy, it got them votes.
We see what you are and we’re not going to take it.
And just to think, on one occasion back in the 1990’s, Rush Limbaugh had Matthews sub for him on his radio show.
Well,... we call you CHRIS MATTHEWS REVOLTING!
They'd be excellent but I think Mark Steyn would be even better.
Mark Steyn and Mark Levin
matthews: “Republicans, conservatives suck!, no good!, evil!, warmongers!, racists!, homophobes! haters!”
everyone: “you liberal!”
matthews: “how dare you label me!”
Chris Matthews — former Democrat staffer, now part of the corrupt MSM
Chuck Todd — former Democrat staffer, now part of the corrupt MSM
George Stephanopoulos — former Democrat staffer, now part of the corrupt MSM
See a pattern here? Others whom I haven’t listed?
That’s right, Chris. They were “revolting” all right. But not in the way you think, moron.
There ia absolutely nothing that pis*es off a foaming-at-the-mouth liberal more than conservatives using actual facts to criticize their leftist bias.
