Hmmm, who would have guessed reliability in difficult conditions would be an issue? Who knew?? </sarcasm>
To: MinorityRepublican
Sorry they can’t have these issues after wiping ISIS out completely!

Perhaps Ivan should swallow his pride and ask our guys how we got it done in the raghead’s sandbox.

Simple rationale ... Russian/Soviet aircraft were designed for the European and humid environments. They were never designed to operate in arid/sandy environments. Yes, the Russian/Soviet airfields are in icy and snowy areas of the country, and are designed for that.
To: Terry L Smith
Yep. You design for where you expect to fight. You adapt if you are not fighting where you expected. The Afrika Korps learned that very quickly. So did the Wehrmacht in Russia.
To: MinorityRepublican
It's obvious to any observer that Russia uses ISIS just as live practice targets, and sees Syria as a test range. All the feedback about reliability and failure rate of all components is necessary for improvements.

dear 17th,

I agree .... but to think, the Russians/Soviets already WERE in Afghanistan before we were, so ya’s mighta thunk that ‘somebody’ woulda kept the engineer’s pen and ink field notes, for future design considerations, wouldn’cha?

I meant it as a preventative maintenance issue.
They're killing ragheads like we all know our armed forces can, would 0doucheBag turn our forces loose to make war upon the slimebag muslims.

I recall that our troops had similar equipment problems when we first went into Kuwait and Iraq.
We figured out what needed to be done and the Russkies will do the same.
Don’t forget - we rely on them to take Americans back and forth to the space station on equipment that is Russian designed, built and manitained so they can’t be too incompetent.

ask our guys how we got it done in the ragheads sandbox. No big secret, before and after each run, our guys took large bales of fresh new C-notes and fed them through each jet engine. Doubling up on Sundays, tripling up for each and every muslim holiday.

Well golly if an unnamed US DOD official says it, it has to be true, right Wally?
Russian airframes been all over the middle east for 5 decades. They have a reputation for high dependability, short lives, and lower tech. Now DOD turns that on its head.
Propaganda.
