What a waste...I can not believe this...I am a 100% Trump supporter, as you all know, or should by now...ahem, but anyway...Cruz is a very fine Senator, he stands by what he says, and is most of the time on the perfect side of things, but for someone like this POS Bush to come out and attack Cruz is beyond disgusting, and must be very embarrassing for his family...

Cruz is willing to look back and learn from a mistake.
Bush defends the mistake as not a mistake and therefore risks repeating said mistake.
And as much as I love Ted, Jeb could win over every last one of his voters and would still be polling in only 3rd place. Add to that, the hard core Cruzers are just about the last people that will ‘come home’ to Jeb. He’d have more luck trying to get the Paulians on his bandwagon.
Jeb going after Cruz at this point speaks to the kind of poor advice and strategy that has doomed his candidacy thus far.

I don’t want to make excuses for Cruz or rationalize something he said or did to protect. I see enough of that going on elsewhere.
BUT, I do think this is probably explained easily enough. Of course the night of the debate, Jeb wasn’t interested in any explanations.
I’d imagine Cruz’s first choice would have been someone else (his former boss if I recall). When that wasn’t going to be a possibility, he probably flipped to Roberts, who he thought had the record and the beliefs and conviction to do the job well.
Which may have turned out to be the case if it hadn’t been for the Obama administration probably blackmailing him.
Jeb! has reached a place few people reach with me ... the very sight/sound of him makes me physically nauseous. He is now in the same category as Peolosi, Reid, the Clintons, Obamas, Holder .... those sorts of ‘Rat B’s.
