Arranging American Gun Confiscation

America's progressive chatter on guns has been shifting noticeably from the abstract language of "control" to the concrete language of "confiscation." Hillary Clinton is just the latest leading voice to serve notice that the forced disarmament of law-abiding Americans is not the dystopian fantasy of paranoids, but a matter of current policy discussion -- and action.

During an October 16 Town Hall in New Hampshire, a voter asked Hillary Clinton about Australia's national gun "buyback" program -- more accurately dubbed "confiscation" -- in which large numbers of firearms were outlawed, and owners compelled to surrender them (for financial compensation). Here is the question:

Recently, Australia managed to get away, or take away tens of thousands, millions, of handguns. In one year, they were all gone. Can we do that? If we can’t, why can’t we?

Well, you're certainly welcome to try. Some folks will say Molon Labe. I prefer Moron Labe. I did read someplace the the poised one backed off this somewhat since she stated a few years back that gun ownership is ingrained in U.S. society and culture. She obviously a supporter of the 2nd amendment just like nannie bloomers and margabby kelley-giffords. Right?

They all have to be found first. One of the primary responsibilities of any ‘collector’ is to obtain a ‘collector piece’ NOT via Form 4474 acquisition.....

Gun Confiscation didn’t work out so well for King George at Lexington. It won’t work out any better for America’s new Royalty either.

Right now, the Democrat candidates are just pandering to their base. They risk nothing because the vast majority of folk who believe in gun rights and self defense are not going to vote in the Democrat Primaries anyway.

But, between their control of the media and education, and the infiltration of invading barbarians in the US, the Left is pretty sure they that they will soon have numbers needed to start implementing gun confiscation. And the GOP-E will go along with them.

Yup. There’s a lot more super ultra high powered .22 cal weapons out there now. You know, the ones that can shoot through engine blocks and cut down telephone poles.

“....start implementing gun confiscation. And the GOP-E will go along with them.” Are there enough citizens that WON’T go along with them? POOF! Instant felons. Lucky for us they’re already clearing out some of the prisons to make room.

They won't need to imprison me.

Jailing a corpse makes no sense.

1) 2A & FU

2) The statement is categorically incorrect (lie). It is estimated that the government was able to get at most 1/3 of the firearms in existence. There's a sh1tload of guns still in private hands. Waiting...

3) It's possible, even likely, that should they try that here we will not simply hide our guns, but will with force actively resist. Which IMO is what should happen.

Arranging American Gun Confiscation armed civil disobedience.

These dumb f**ks ignore the law of unintended consequences at their own peril.

the Left is pretty sure they that they will soon have numbers needed to start implementing gun confiscation.

They have to know who has 'em and where they are, which is why Bloomberg, et al, are pushing for background checks. They are poised for that in 2016 in AZ and NV, and maybe more.

Give 'em 5-10 years and when they feel the majority are registered, they'll demand they be turned in and issue "armed and dangerous" warrants for the rest (let the local cops take the risk rather than send in govt. agents).

[Sidebar] Right after WWII there was an article reporting that the GIs in Germany had an easy task of rounding up the remaining civilian firearms by just getting the list of registered guns from the police station and then go knocking on doors.

Some Norwegian commented that the Nazis were more efficient - all they did is post the names, stating that those on the list bring them down to the police station or be shot. There was a high rate of compliance.

Gun confiscation will not happen. Plus gun owners will simply find ways to hide their guns.

Most states are loosening their gun laws not tightening. What goes on in the Democratic Socialist States of the NE is an outlier. They are practically not America anymore anyway. GA just loosened already loose gun laws. Especially CCW.

The Congress is well aware that there is not mood for gun control now in the Country and they will do nothing to tighten gun laws. Americans are well know for ignoring laws they don’t like anyway.

Meanwhile the leftards will continue to blah, blah, blah about registration and confiscation. Its annoying but not going to happen. No one is going to destroy the NRA or Gun Owners of America or any other gun group. The American population is arming itself like no other time since the Revolution.

Some gun owners will hide their guns.

Others will take them to the homes of those who send the confiscators.

Did you buy ammo for it? Components? Parts?

They know what we have. Don’t kid yourself.

And the cops and army will just follow orders.
