In a speech before Congress on Tuesday Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) excoriated his fellow politicians for not listening to the American people on illegal immigration. He also ripped into President Obama for “acting like an emperor” and forcing amnesty upon the American people without their consent or the work of Congress.
Senator Cruz spoke in support of the Stop Sanctuary Policies and Protect Americans Act, which he is cosponsoring, demanding that the government enforce our already existing immigration laws and acting against liberal Sanctuary Cities who continue to flout our laws.
“This class of illegal aliens has a special disregard and disdain for our nation’s laws. And, too often, these offenders also have serious rap sheets…
We must send the message that defiance of our laws will no longer be tolerated—whether it’s by the sanctuary cities themselves or the illegal reentry offenders that they harbor.
The problem of illegal immigration in this country will never be solved until we demonstrate to the American people that we are serious about securing the border and enforcing our immigration laws.
This bill is just a small step, but at least it’s a small step in the right direction.”

Sadly, it has taken the tragic and terrible death of ?#?KateSteinle to galvanize action here in Washington.
Kate died in the arms of her father on a San Francisco pier after being fatally shot by an illegal alien who had several felony convictions and had been deported from the United States multiple times.
Her death is heartbreaking.
And the heartbreak is even more appalling because Kate’s killer had been released from custody—and not turned over to the federal government to be deported—because of San Francisco’s sanctuary policy.
These policies are inexcusable. They are a threat to the safety of the American people. And they must end now.

Sadly, Senate Democrats blocked the bill that would have cracked down on Sanctuary cities, killing the bill in a 54-45 vote. (The bill needed 60 votes to pass.) Only two Democrats sided with Republicans, Senators Joe Donnelly (D-IN) and Joe Manchin (D-WV), while only one Republican joined with Democrats, Senator Mark Kirk (R-IL). (Kirk votes with Democrats so often, he might as well stop calling himself a Republican.) The Democrat Party continues to work against the best interests of American citizens, yet some continue to vote for them. It makes no sense.
Democrats hate women and America, not necessarily in that order.

Kate Steinle murder should be a wake up call to all Americans on just how out of control illegal immigration is in this country.
Of course for these demoncrats and the left, she is just collateral damage in their war to shove their agenda down our throats and the fact they need to USE these illegals to continue to shove their agenda down our throats. These libs/dems are disgusting creatures.

Did the same thing at the Benghazi hearings today. These Democrat politicians are scum. No ethics, no decency, no respect for the rule of law. These people worship 1 thing, power. Their lust for power demonstrates how holy unfit they are to have it.
I want to know why hasn’t the press done any stories on these so called migrants? If their lives are so tough, why are they not telling the American public about their plight?
Why are their 90% able bodied men?
Why do they have great haircuts(high and tight) and have nice clothes?
Has anyone talked about all those migrants in Germany and elsewhere that seem to be able to fight for their own country?
If I did not know any better, What a way to send in the UN peace keepers without anyone knowing.
Lawlessness is what they do.
My friends and family have wondered this too. The left has become so fanatical to their cause that nothing would surprise us.
