Businessman Donald Trump emerged as the clear front runner among Republican presidential candidates in a recent survey of likely Granite State GOP primary voters, a Franklin Pierce University/Boston Herald poll released Tuesday showed.
Of the sample 440 of the voters surveyed between Oct. 14-17, 28 percent said they would support Trump if the primary were held today, the FPU/ Boston Herald poll said. Ben Carson followed with 16 percent.

Not necessarily. New Hampshire has (as of 2012) around 767,000 registered voters, 30% of whom are registered Republicans, translating to a pool of around 230,000 potential pollees in the population. Using 440 votes gives you a margin of error of around 4.7%, which is respectable.
Trumps negatives are too high. Of course, so are Hillary’s.
Lots of people would be staying home.
