He is a talker, not a fighter. All hat and no cattle, as the expression goes. If you have to talk a lot, you aren’t for action.
Stay in Berlin. We are fighting to make America great again!
I agree, tangential attacks using family as props is pretty low brow...
"My life is seeing everything in terms of "How would I handle that?" Look at the war in Iraq and the mess that we're in. I would never have handled it that way. Does anybody really believe that Iraq is going to be a wonderful democracy where people are going to run down to the voting box and gently put in their ballot and the winner is happily going to step up to lead the county? C'mon. Two minutes after we leave, there's going to be a revolution, and the meanest, toughest, smartest, most vicious guy will take over. And he'll have weapons of mass destruction, which Saddam didn't have.
What was the purpose of this whole thing? Hundreds and hundreds of young people killed. And what about the people coming back with no arms and legs? Not to mention the other side. All those Iraqi kids who've been blown to pieces. And it turns out that all of the reasons for the war were blatantly wrong. All this for nothing!
I would have been tougher on terrorism. Bin Laden would have been caught long ago. Tell me, how is it possible that we can't find a guy who's six foot six and supposedly needs a dialysis machine? Can you explain that one to me? We have all out energies focused on one placewhere they shouldn't be focused.
When I look at some of the things that happened in government, I can't believe it. Countries that we're protecting are screwing us on oil prices. It's unthinkable. I wouldn't stand for it. How would I handle that? That's what it feels like to be me."
esquire-cover-story-august-2004 ~ Donald Trump
You have just described nearly every political ‘leader’ this country has had for the last 25 years. And no, it’s not been amusing. As for The Donald, for many of us he’s not our perfect candidate. He’s not the best ‘conservative’ of the bunch either. He is however the ‘hired gun’ with the best chance of hopefully utterly destroying the current, pathetic excuse of what is called a representative political party. Other candidates talk big but in the end they are all for sale. Can/will The Donald follow thru on what he has said he will do? Maybe/maybe not, however he has one big advantage the others don’t, history shows The Don buys and is not bought.
That would make me the only one Trump keeps out.
Have you met her sister Tanya?
T. Ye Hee Lee!
This is a hell of a fight for a 69-year old man to make against the entire media and general establishment. He’s winning so far. Maybe your candidate should fight a little harder.
Trump isn’t fighting against the media; he is fighting with the media on his side. Remember, he is part of the media.
That’s clever the way you describe the normal campaign process, whereby a candidate makes his case to the voters that he is the most qualified to handle the nation’s problems, and the voters gravitate towards the candidate who they think is most capable, as somehow being cult-like when the candidate involved is not the one you support.
We all want a candidate who has the wisdom to anticipate the consequences of actions, military or otherwise. If the candidate of your choice, whoever he may be, pointed out statements or predictions he made in the past which later proved to be true, you undoubtedly would point to them as proof that he has vision. When a candidate you dislike does the same thing, you describe him as pretending to be a prophet. Clever!
Ha we'll see....Trump doesn't make statements without a purpose. This is probably bait...
Please post such comments as Opinion unless you are willing and able to put together a rational well reasoned adult response...
Until then you are metaphorically sitting at the kids table and it is looking like a bib may be needed is the drooling does not slow down...
Or put on your Big Boy hat and make some sense, you act like a jilted teenager
The first few weeks they tried to sink him big-time unless it was all a play. As far as him being part of the media: that goes for every person who ever ran for office.
