The traffic deaths aren't distributed equally though. Native Americans, Hispanics and blacks are much more likely to die as pedestrians in traffic accidents than whites or Asian-Americans, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Any race of drivers may in some neighborhoods be reluctant to stop where black men are standing at an intersection.

Because the last two groups don’t step out into traffic thinking they are entitled to do that and survive.
And I cannot count the number of times that I've seen feral youts (black) dashing across busy roadways outside of crosswalks like stray dogs. They even dash across controlled access interstates.
Just when you think these people can’t get more stupid, they get more stupid.
Could not possibly be the irresponsible behavior of the pedestrian.
At first I thought this article was satire.
These people are stone cold nuts.
It all comes down to who is most likely walking in high traffic areas, and who is likely to be in the streets while intoxicated. But then rational analysis wouldn’t allow this leftist hack to accuse whites of racism.

Like; not crossing at a crosswalk, wearing very dark clothing, not carrying a light at night, etc.
Every near miss I’ve had with pedestrians has been because of those things above and almost all of them have been blacks...had one black female walk right out in front of me in a 45 mph zone without a care in the world and got pi$$ed at me.
She was challenging me...should have clipped her stupid a$$ with my sideview mirror.
In a recent study, researchers dressed three white men and three black men in identical clothes, and had them walk the same way and exhibit the same mannerisms.
Where I live, blacks have this bizarre habit of walking in the middle of the road, very slowly, and with a level of obliviousness that borders on parody. You just dont think that they no idea that they dont know that a car is approaching them.
Stupidity plays no part in this. At all.
Only if drivers are deliberately hitting pedestrians. How stupid is this premise, really?

No doubt the piece is flush with facts about the perception in each community about beliefs on whether it’s important to follow laws, perceptions of entitlement, cultural norms when it comes to public intoxication, and the settling of grievances.

That’s because they do not obey traffic signs and pedestrian crosswalks. They cross in the middle of the block and mostly just go their own way wherever, and throw down their trash and booze bottles along the way......................
