MANY URUGUAYANS FED UP WITH COMPLAINTS FROM SYRIAN REFUGEES

When Uruguay announced last year that it would be taking in five families fleeing Syria's devastating civil war, residents of this small town pulled together and lobbied to host one.

Then in November, locals welcomed a newly arrived Merhi Alshebli, his wife and their 15 children with food and seeds to plant vegetables. People in Juan Lacaze, a coastal city of fishermen and paper factory workers in southwestern Uruguay, wanted to do their part to help a country where more than 200,000 have been killed in the fighting.

These Syrians need to come to the US where they will fit right in with the welfare dependency class.

They need to go back to their Syrian hellhole then.

When I think of the early pioneers here in this country and what they went through these ungrateful third world parasites make me sick.

Oh joy.

Wait until they arrive here by the millions, all demanding freebies. Because America doesn’t have enough whiny, entitled dependents.

This month the 51-year-old Alshebli shocked locals by dousing himself in gasoline in protest...

Perhaps someone should have handed him a match...

"No sheep. No cows. No land," said Alshebli, recounting what he said officials told him.

Good thing for the sheep......................

News today filled of stories about rust belt urban Mayors (Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh) begging the Feds to send Syrians their way. Get the raw population numbers up prior to redistricting. Get their mitts on additional Federal dollars, etc.

My view is that there has to be a set “pie” of welfare entitlements - the pie does not get bigger as the numbers partaking of it become more numerous. Thus, you would have to have the monthly checks to individual recipients reduced by a corresponding amount; I think this would reduce the fervor for further mass immigration from Syria and the other Mideast countries of lib Dems representing a lot of the areas with concentrations of current recipients.

Self-immolation has special symbolism today in the Middle East.

Not as it applies to this situation.

The "symbolism" attached to self-immolation in the Mid-East is a result of the repressive and abusive attitudes and practices against women.

In fact, there are only two cases involving men that I can google up, all the rest are with women who have been or were repeatedly raped, beaten, abused and the atrocities ignored or accepted because of Sharia.

So, the claim that this Syrian "refugee" did this (or at least threatened to do so) doesn't hold much water...and tells me that the author of this piece is more than just a little sympathetic to the cause of the poor, down-trodden muslim refugee, who, because of his beliefs, is without a country, marooned in a country that doesn't care about him.

Hog wash.

Muslims lie about every damned thing and while I have done my best to understand and relate to the plight of these people, for every ONE that may be legitimate, there are at least 50 that are radicalized and are indeed "invading", rather than "fleeing".

Islam sucks.

Period.
