Sssshhhhhh. I have a secret, something I cant let the government know about. Its something incredibly subversive, certainly seditious, possibly traitorous, and maybe soon to be illegal.
Ready? Heres my secret: We use gasp cash for almost all our transactions.
Shocking, I know.
Oddly enough, the trigger for our rapid transition to an all-cash (as much as possible) lifestyle happened almost three years ago when we discovered a large well-known store that carried supplies we use in our home woodcraft business. But the first time I went to purchase these supplies with a check, the following conversation ensued with the cashier:

That’s drastic. I’ve just said “no” to Facebook to limit my external information.
Revelation 13:16-18 is coming. There will be no way to avoid it.
This begins when the “peace deal” is broken by the Antichrist starting the last 3.5 years also known as the Great Tribulation.
But the world wants to make all transactions electronic in some form or another. They are blind to what is coming.
At some stores, cashiers get bonuses or commissions for signing people up for store credit cards, or reward cards. That’s why they can be persistent to try to sign you uonfor these things.
At some stores, part of their performance evaluation is based on how many people they signed up for these cards.
Reminds me of a Sting song. “Every step you take, every move you make, I’ll be watching you....” A better warning against this was the old Rare Earth tune of “Hey Big Brother”.
There was an article recently that Greece was mandating that new businesses starting up would be cashless businesses. The explanation was that they were fighting tax evasion.
If we ever go cashless, then some bureaucrats or dictatorial type government officials will gain more and more control over our lives. We will all have less and less privacy.
If it happens we will be told that it is to fight counterfeiting or fight criminals such as drug dealers who deal in cash. But beware there will be other consequences to such actions.
I have discount cards for two grocery stores. When I got them, I told the clerk I would fill out the form for harvesting personal information later and then discarded it.
Yep. A great preacher, Adrian Rogers said of the Tribulation, “When the world gets what it wants, it won’t want what it gets”.
But I’ve learned you can’t instruct many. Few listen; which is exactly what is prophesied. Either way, the control freaks want everything electronic. The Internet (thanks, Al Gore! lol) is going to make much of this possible, along with cell technology. Gas pumps at a station out in the middle of nowhere, unmanned, use cell phone technology to authorize your credit card.
And let's not forget Alan Parson's "Eye in the Sky," you know, the one that's looking at you? Woo Ooh it can read your mind.
Yeah, I don’t think it will be stopped because the prophecy will be fulfilled. Even if some, and I’m sure there are a few, who don’t know where it is going. They’re going to take the world there, one way or another.
Importing terrorists is a great way to use them as shock troops to get the population to sign off on more intrusive measures. I’m sure that sounds like tinfoil to a few. Yet we will watch as this plays out. Guess I had better ping Nully.
World War 2 books on spies, the underground economy, the underground in general and the camps are an EXCELLENT resource.
All the tricks and tips from before the digital age could still work, as long as you aren’t arranging things via forums and email before meeting or acting.
Their op-sec, however, stinks.
Cash only here .....
A store where I shop frequently has a “rewards” card .... they always ask if I have one & they try to sign me up when I tell them I don’t. I stop them dead in their tracks with this statement “No thank you - I read your privacy policy”. Actually, I DID read the (no) privacy policy & no way would I give them any info to pretty much use however they please. One of the cashiers engaged in a conversation about it (was shocked - said he’d never had anyone tell him that before) and now when he sees me, he starts laughing & calls me the “no privacy policy lady”.
When people ask for email or (less frequently) phone number when checking out, even when using cash, I always say “no thank you” ... they look a little puzzled sometimes, but keep on processing the transaction without further comment so I’m not the only one refusing that info.
Hell,I have posted on this FR website many times how I hide most of my cash....this is not rocket science by any means....if you do not have the ball’s NOW to blatantly not fund the criminal enterprise in D.C. ...you may be to far gone already.....I have been outside looking in for 25 plus years and I do quite well....if you want to do business just ask me what I have to offer...off the books of course. DID YA GET THAT NSA?
LOL! No worries. You is on the list.
Ha, discovered this version just a sec ago.
Well, don’t sweat allegiance to their 666. That one is unable to be reverses throughout all eternity (Revelation chapter 14 for those lurking).
Sorry for 2nd ping on the same thread, but....
Latee
I am old.
But when the ladies at the cash register ask me for personal information, I always ask them if they are hittting on me.
Hard for them to laugh like that and work the cash register, but it sure stops the questions about phone numbers, addresses, zip codes, awards cards, etc.
