There was an article recently that Greece was mandating that new businesses starting up would be cashless businesses. The explanation was that they were fighting tax evasion.

If we ever go cashless, then some bureaucrats or dictatorial type government officials will gain more and more control over our lives. We will all have less and less privacy.

If it happens we will be told that it is to fight counterfeiting or fight criminals such as drug dealers who deal in cash. But beware there will be other consequences to such actions.

Yeah, I don’t think it will be stopped because the prophecy will be fulfilled. Even if some, and I’m sure there are a few, who don’t know where it is going. They’re going to take the world there, one way or another.

Importing terrorists is a great way to use them as shock troops to get the population to sign off on more intrusive measures. I’m sure that sounds like tinfoil to a few. Yet we will watch as this plays out. Guess I had better ping Nully.

when you think about it, the govt has dominion over all of our money...

and if they succeed in making us cashless, all it will take from them is a simple computer stroke to raid our bank accounts...
