An Oklahoma congressman has sent a second letter to the Secretary of the Army demanding access to Ranger School records for the classes that have involved female soldiers.
Republican Rep. Steve Russell, an infantry battalion commander who is Ranger qualified, has continued his quest as a third woman prepares to graduate from the Armys most demanding combat leadership school Friday at Fort Benning.
In a second letter to Secretary John McHugh dated Oct. 7, Russell said he is concerned that some of the documentation he has requested has been destroyed.
I was somewhat puzzled by the Army officials informing me that many of the documents I am requesting might not be delivered as they may have been shredded, Russell said in the letter his office provided to the Ledger-Enquirer upon request.

Shredded to achieve the outcome ordered by this regime?
Daddy (WWII combat veteran) stated that when he started out in basic training; there were a few blatantly queer guys who mustered in when he did. Stated that the flaming ones flamed out before basic was finished. - The boys back then were set on taking it to Hitler and did not have time for any such “activities”. Not that they mistreated anyone; the homosexuals were too sidetracked by the buggering desires and not cognizant it was a LIFE or DEATH struggle with the Germans and Japs. It was either grow up fast or die. No one had time for that foolishness! - This “butch women” crap will also flame out in time, too, once the dykes get bored.
Interesting, but the story may be accurate. When I was a battalion commander in the late 80’s, one of my Lieutenants began wearing a Ranger tab and when I asked him about this as I had not send him to Ranger School, he told me that he had appealed his elimination and produced a set of orders.
Something smelled fishy, so since I had to go to Ft. Benning on other business, I dropped by the Ranger Training Brigade to check his story. The Brigade’s records showed that he had not graduated and the Infantry School records showed that his orders were forged. His record for Ranger School was just a notation of how he did on each phase and showed that he did not complete the Florida Phase. He was eligible to come back, but he would have been required to finish the Florida Phase to be declared a Ranger graduate. Records of his patrols were not on file, just what was described as the “green card”.
Turns out that a Sergeant in the Ranger Training Brigade was forging orders and selling them, mostly to those who had washed out in one of the later phases. This Lieutenant was thrown out of the Army, but from what I saw in my review of records, this story might check out.
Further in the article, it’s noted that shredding of these types of documents is and has been standard practice.
And Congress expanding its reach once again. Good Lord. Is there anything on Earth that doesn’t have Congress’ mitts on it? I know why he is wanting the info but for goodness sake.......how about passing a budget that hasn’t been done in 7 years.
The training is suppose to be so tough a 37 year old man couldn't make it!
You mean like with a salad shredder? /s
he better also request the records from black candidates...infact, request them all...
The record will correct itself as the instructors come forward. If there is a problem, that is. It took a while for the Lohrenz naval debacle to surface, but surface it did. There are things that will never surface; Congressman Dornan never did get actual rates of illegitimate births among enlisted females. While I was stationed there, Fort Story was a regular bastard factory. When I tell the old timers about this they’re appalled.
A lid has been put on all of this. The new Ranger class, the first regular course that includes females, will not even report how many female soldiers were enrolled. They will not report turn backs and certainly won’t report females dismissed from the course. They may not even report the numbers of graduates. But, they will track the statistics in detail and that data will be used to change the standards in order to achieve the desired graduation rate. Count on it.
Interesting. There are now females in the course? I thought they’d do the three tokens, claim it could be done & go from there.
Presumably, but the Army won’t say. I’m sure that they will take considerable effort to feed females to Ranger School, but I suspect that they are going to have real difficulty finding more than a few tokens.
We agree on that. Every female in Ranger School is an infantry NCO who won’t be getting a slot. That is the bottom line.
There are men inclined towards homosexuality who can either control the inclination and hide it. Just like those inclined towards narcotics use, petty theft, rape or anything else...if they can keep their inclinations under control they can be successful. As the recent incidence of soaring homosexual rape reports in the service indicate, there are many sodomites who cannot control themselves.
I know the Biblical adage “let him who standeth take heed
lest he fall”. I’m not boasting myself in pride; but I
have had to control myself in many instances. I just
basically say, “Lord, have mercy on me a sinner!” - I’m
thankful to have natural, normal desires in the area of
sexual desire; but I realize there are those who are
tempted in various & sundry ways. - I’m just muddling
through day to day most of the time & probably lousing
up in ways in which I’m totally ignorant in other areas.
Self-control is necessary lest we become a nation and a
world of monsters.
My Momma used to say that homosexuals (men or women) just
got into a bad habit and continued to wallow in it. - All
sin of any kind is SIN. So, it’s true; let him who
standeth take heed lest he fall.
