Santorum and Huckabee are underrated IMO but they wont get any traction to move up nor would they fair well in the general election. In a more sane nation perhaps they would.

I wouldn’t vote for Huckabee on a dare.

Over sampling “very conservative”, “very religious” and “college or more” will cause Carson’s numbers to rise.

“I still don’t understand Carson over Cruz. Who are these people?”

I ask the same thing. Maybe they don’t exist. “The good doctor” sure has quite the following for “he’s a good man” being his strongest point. I’ll be very disappointed if he gets the nomination, but I don’t think he will.

There are people who are very disappointed in the system, in the Republicans, and who also view Cruz as polarizing and too partisan to “reach across the aisle”. They want the parties to play nice an accomplish things for the country. Problem is, Repubs always do this, Dems never do and we suffer the consequences. Carson is seen as one with a temperament to accomplish this, but still stands strong on moral, Constitutional grounds...though admittedly, does not have a long record to examine.

I’m still all for Senator Cruz—but probably won’t get a chance to vote for him.

Don't count Cruz out just yet. I think he moved up to third in this poll.

It looks like Cruz is sitting pretty. He's hanging in and slowly moving up, without taking too much flak from the media.

I'm thinking he'll peak close to the election

Carson is a wonderful person, but I just don't think the country would elect another black President in 2016 after Obama. So much damage has been done. Probably will be 2020 or thereafter before it's possible.

Carson is not a viable candidate. He is just doing what he was PAID to do. Spoiler and stalking horse.

It’s style over substance. Sen. Cruz is not fuzzy and warm. He sees the nation on the brink of losing what remains of its liberty to enemies both foreign and domestic. Dr. Carson, is soft spoken and less frightening. Women would vote for the doctor. They have been told by the Democrat media that Cruz doesn’t play nice with others, so they would not support him.

public polls vs the private polls.

The GOPe has private polls as to how to implement “operation mockingjay” to force jbush.

We need to push up the “NEVER Will vote for” numbers and candidates.

BEYOND just jbush.

Down into the 3% and less candidates.
Her Insiderness, Fiorina
One of Eight, Rubio
Stalker Carson.

In the end it should boil down to Trump and Cruz.

And just like Kerry, she changed her mind. Just because she’s female should be no reason to give her slack.

I believe this Fox poll is highly manipulated. Morning Consult just out yesterday shows Trump 34% with Carson at number two and 20%. Most polls have Trump with a minimum 6% lead over Carson.

I am not at all criticizing Carson, but I am very suspicious of his alleged popularity.

I read the internet on politics extensively and I do not remember a single article, post or comment from anyone anywhere advocating Carson, or explaining why he would be the best candidate/president.

I know that is just anecdotal, but who are these Carson voters? Silent Sams?

Carson is trying to pump up the IOWA caucus system by simulating Huckable 2.0 as a “Christian conservative”. He appears on farming shows and local TV and is benefiting from taping into “borrowed” team jbush caucus goers.

It is all about gaming the convention delegate.

“Trump, the previous leader on that question at 59 percent as recently as early June, has fallen to 18 percent in that category.”

Wow. That’s pretty a HUGH change. And yes I am series.

Has Carson taken any heat like Trump? The Biased media will support the one most likely to lose against Hillary 110%. I don’t trust the polls. The Democrats will support who ever they have on the ticket, no mater what their faults, and they will always downplay any scandal. They can find dead bodies and boxes of TS material in Hillary’s closet and still back her all the way. Now it has become a Murdock vs Trump Event? The Battle of the Billionaires. $$$$ vs.$$$$$. I have complete faith in the GOPe, I’m sure they will turn victory into defeat once more. I see no change coming, its going to be DC as usual, SOSA.

I'm a little surprised at the appeal of Carson, though. He's certainly no JFK-like speaker.

I heard Carson speak at a pro-life event, not a political one. He was very impressive.

Even so, my preference is still Cruz.
