The Windy City is having a very violent year and according to new numbers, Chicago just wrapped up its worst September for homicides since 2002.
September was Chicago's deadliest month since 2002, with 60 homicides. Through Sept. 27, homicides and shooting incidents had risen 21 percent from the year-earlier period, Police Department numbers show. Most of the City Council's black aldermen last week called for Emanuel to fire police Superintendent Garry McCarthy, but the mayor said he supports his top cop.
So why the increase in violence? Mayor Rahm Emaunel is blaming police hesitation and heavy media scrutiny for criminals running wild.

Considering the fact that liberals are all in with the “black lives matter” propaganda, can you blame cops for hesitating in confrontations with black suspects? You can imagine they are hesitating to make sure they do everything “by the book” so that they are not 2nd guessed and have their lives and careers ruined when some liberals somewhere 2nd guess what they did when making split second decisions on what to do.
What’s up with media scrutiny? Is Emmanuel thinking that the gangs and assorted criminals who do these shootings are happy to see their crimes publicized on the news?? What the heck??
Or is Emmanuel frustrated that the shootings are on the news at all?? Is he the kind of person who thinks if some event isn’t in the news, that it isn’t important??
So if the media didn’t report the high rate of shootings in Chicago, then public officials such as himself would pretend it wasn’t a problem? Then he wouldn’t have to deal with it???

I don’t have a problem letting criminals kill each other, white, black or whatever color. Let them kill each other and thin out the herd.

In the 90 years after the end of the Civil War, in the entire South, its estimated there were about 3400 lynchings of black citizens (and about 1200 of white). That averages about 37 black American citizens per year.
Just one city, Chicago, has managed to kill over 50% more black Americans in ONE MONTH.
A disproportionate share of gun homicide victims are black (55% in 2010, compared with the 13% black share of the population). Whites were 25% of victims but 65% of the population in 2010. Hispanics were 17% of victims and 16% of the population in 2010.
Was watching the PBS series on Prohibition last night - this is nothing new for Chicago, and the Chief of Police back in Capone’s day said essentially the same thing. Why put the cops in harm’s way when you can let the gangs sort it out. The corruption has been going on since the Get-Go no matter which party has been “in charge.”
