While at State, Clinton chief of staff held job negotiating with Abu Dhabi
Washington Post ^ | October 12, 2015 | By Rosalind S. Helderman

For the four years that Hillary Rodham Clinton was secretary of state, her longtime friend and adviser Cheryl D. Mills served next to her as chief of staff. Clinton has said Mills helped her run the State Department’s sprawling bureaucracy, oversaw key priorities such as food safety, global health policy and LGBT rights, and acted as “my principal liaison to the White House on sensitive matters.”

At State, she was unpaid, officially designated as a temporary expert-consultant — a status that allowed her to continue to collect outside income while serving as chief of staff. She reported that NYU paid her $198,000 in 2009, when her university work overlapped with her time at the State Department, and that she collected an additional $330,000 in vacation and severance payments when she left the school’s payroll in May 2009.

The arrangement, which Mills discussed for the first time publicly in an interview with The Washington Post, is another example of how Clinton as secretary allowed close aides to conduct their public work even as they performed jobs benefiting private interests. . .

During her first four months at State, Mills also held another high-profile job: She worked part time at New York University, negotiating with officials in Abu Dhabi to build a campus in that Persian Gulf city.

State Dept. employees can’t hit up folks for bribes, but private citizens can. So here we have someone who is behaving like a State Dept. employee, but technically is not, hitting up Abu Dhabi (likely for the “Clinton Fund”).

This is criminal, and embarrassing to the US.

All state department employees were fundraisers for the Clinton Crime Family’s fund.

“This is criminal, and embarrassing to the US.”

I suspect that Arabs are relieved to pay a bribe. (They call it baksheesh.) It means they’re guaranteed to get whatever it is they want. They don’t have to put up with whatever other requirements might ordinarily go along with what they are trying to get. (For example, they won’t have to give up beheading prisoners or whipping women, both of which are probably their ordinary culture in some cases.)

And, if they’re competing for a contract, their costs won’t matter. What a relief that they won’t have to fire their whole extended family to meet the lower overhead of the competition.

But Cheney went to WAR “for Halliburton” even though he had quit HIS job there BEFORE accepting the nomination from Bush!

Well, at least according to Obola’s ABCNNBCBS press corpse liberals.

There are really only two companies in the world that could have taken the huge jobs in Iraq without having to gear up; America’s Halliburton and France’s Schlumberger. The French not only made it a point not to support the US in the Iraq war, they supplied the curtesy intel directly to Saddam.

When Bush became president he had his office call all the bullets and bomb manufacturers and asked them to go to 24 hr shifts as Clinton had literally used up all the military’s ordinance. Like the contracts Halliburton got, these were no-bid. I worked for GD, who got one of the calls for gunpowder. The GAO came in and we worked out a price. It was based on costs, as all contracts are. It was a very fair contract to buyer, seller, and here’s the important part, the taxpayers. I suspect the Halliburton contracts were also very fair to all parties.

Incidentally, I do realize you were being sarcastic. But I try to be informative whenever I can add something.

But this can't be. Clinton said that she will be a "fighter" for us little people when she announce.

Obviously the VRWC is behind this (laughs maniacally, twirls handlbar mustache while holding a cloth bag with the symbol $ on it)

And it is sobering the true “service” and duty that everybody involved performed when Bush-Cheney were in charge.

Not today. Not even at the top of the Pentagon. Perhaps, most especially at the top of the Pentagon. At the companies? Perhaps more than at the top floors of the Pentagon.

The Washington Post reports on the pattern Hillary's e-mails reveal. People who gave generously to the Clinton Foundation received generous attention from the Secretary of State: The conniving cornpone Clintons are beholden to a lot of people expecting big payoffs w/ Hillary’s presidential pen:

<><> Clinton Foundation donors,

<><>groups bribing the Clintons w/ humongous honoraria,

<><> those who bribed Bill w/ multi-million dollar consultancies

<><> all the lucrative insider business deals

<><> Loyal Clinton insiders working the con for 2016 Hillary.

==========================================

CLINTON CASH AUTHOR PETER SCHWEIZER OBSERVES Deleted Hillary Emails Probably Relate to shady ‘Clinton Cash’ Transactions:

At first glance, the Clinton’s astounding honoraria and humongous Foundation donations seem to provide the bulk of the couple’s income.

Bill’s honoraria increased dramatically-—earning some $50 million during Hillary’s four-year term as secretary of State....including an Irish scholarship fund, a Korean conglomerate, and, a Nigerian newspaper company......each of whom paid Clinton more than half a million dollars for a single speech.

The Wash/Post reports Hillary earned $11.7 million for 51 speeches since Jan 2014.....she pocketed an astonishing $625,000 for two speeches in one day!

===============================================

I firmly believe the Clinton Foundation’s gigantic donor list, and their astonishing blizzard of speaking honoraria, are a smoke screen for their secret wealth——and the way they make billions sub rosa-—intertwining their vaunted “charity” work and public office.

The calculated Clintons have sought to branch out into other business activities......though little is known about the exact nature and financial worth of Bill and Hillary’s non-speech business interests.

Recent reports indicate the Clintons were party to multi-billion dollar Mideast arms deals....Kazakhstan uranium mines....and Haitian gold mines...oil deals....telecom businesses, financial powerhouses like Teneo, Goldman Sachs.....etc etc etc.

THE CON ARTIST CLINTONS GRABBED EVERYTHNG THAT WASNT NAILED DOWN-—Lucrative business interests were cunningly intertwined w/ the Foundation’s “do-good” activities....enabled by Hillary’s catbird seat at the State Dept.

At last count the Clintons apparently raised an astounding $2 billion from their foundation activities and their political campaigns.....

.....does not include monies flowing in from the various lucrative business ventures, interest accrued, safe deposit boxes, real estate assets, passive income on which they pay no taxes, income from Chelsea’s hubby’s hedge fund, monies invested in Goldman Sachs, interest in financial powerhouse Teneo..... etc etc etc.......

They are worth a bundle.....accumulated in record time.

This is Clinton agit-prop-—softening up the taxpayers for the bombshells to come.

Look for Mills, Abedin, Weiner.... even Hillary, Bill and Chelsea..... STILL cashing govt checks....on the State Dept payroll.

An old bureaucratic trick.

State Dept. employees can’t hit up folks for bribes, but private citizens can.....Mills was behaving like a State Dept employee, but technically was not...

Excellent point....the conniving Clintons strike again. Mills was privy to classified info that she could ......and did......use to benefit the Clinton Foundation. Read on.

Internal State Dept emails WRT African matters received by the State Dept were routinely passed on to the Clinton Foundation by then-COS Cheryl Mills (now a top honcho in Hillary's 2016 bid).

Mills forwarded State Dept emails to Amitabh Desai, the Clinton Foundation's director of foreign policy; one such email had been directed to the Assistant Secy of State for African affairs.

Mills told Desai she was sharing the State Department email with him because Bill Clinton was "in contact" with Paul Kagame, president of Rwanda. "[Bill Clinton] has been talking about giving Kagame a plenary role at CGI," Desai said in response, referring to the Clinton Global Initiative.

So why would Bill offer Kagame a plenary role at the CGI? Well, let's see: Bill Clinton attempted repeatedly to get approval from Hillary Clinton's State Department for lucrative speaking engagements in "two of the most repressive countries in the world — North Korea and the Democratic Republic of the Congo," according to ABC News.

Clinton ultimately was rebuffed but he didn't mind taking cash from dictators. Once upon a time, Hillary took issue w/ African govt corruption as a US Senator, but as Secy of State, Hillary looked the other way as the money poured into the Clinton Global Initiative.

The Congo's "Freeport Mines" (copper, gold, cobalt) is a major Clinton Foundation donor, giving between $250-$500,000, according to donor records. The Congolese government saw its stake in the mine climb by just 2.5 percent in 2010 after Hillary's State Dept conducted talks that were pumped as being "in support of Freeport Mines," the Financial Times reported that year. 6/25/15 - The Bill Clinton Peace Foundation denounces detention of refugees in the Democratic Republc of Congo

The Bill Clinton Peace Foundation (BCPF) has in a statement condemned the detention of three Congolese refugees in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) for not holding valid refugee cards, reports said on Thursday.According to the statement, Antoine Mitsa Mokambou, Jean Pierre Nkounkou and Andre Ntsoma Nsiene were detained on 20 June.

They fled to Kinshasa in 1997 in a bid to escape the Congolese civil war pitting supporters of current president Denis Sassou Nguesso against allies of former president Pascal Lissouba, who is now living in exile in France.

They are currently held in the Funa police in very bad conditions,” FBCP unveiled, confirming that the refugees were arrested in the commune of Kalamu in Kinshasa during an operation targeting foreigners. “Refugee cards have expired for many refugees in the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo” the Foundation acknowledged, expressing regret that the arrests were done during the celebration of Refugee Day. http://en.starafrica.com/news/clinton-foundation-denounces-detention-of-refugees-in-dr-congo.html
