And this is where you tell your neighbors to go f*** themselves.
This is a “Blue Star Mother” flag, and these HOA imbeciles are asking to get seven bells kicked out of them. BSM is a congressionally chartered organization under Title 36 of the United States Code.

Every other veterans’ organization is going to get ticked off about this.
The flag is an active military mom’s flag. When will homeowner’s sue the associations up to the SCOTUS for freedom of speech? Any homes have little home security tags?
I have the same kind of banner in my office window and I dare, I double dare, anyone to try to take it down or even suggest as much.
I will hunt them down, rip off their arms, beat them to death with them then rip off their head and sh-t down their neck. Then I’ll get mad.
My wife took it down to clean the window and forgot to put it back up. It was not a nice discussion that ensued.
I miss my country!
I think the problem is that we “can’t” say what needs to be said to these whiners. It involves a few words that begin with the letter F.
She should tell them that its a clock.
I remember seeing many of these flags in my neighborhood as a kid during WW II. When I read articles like these I shed tears, and end up with inner rage. My country, WTF have these people done to it? Someone needs a good hard boot in the butt.
That is not a flag. It is a banner for mothers with loved ones serving in the military. I bought one for my mom when I was in Iraq. The blue star represents the loved one is serving. If the loved one is killed the star gets changed to gold. This is IN her house and they have no right to tell her to take it down.
I would now paint my house red white and blue and adorn it with American flags
Your life will be simpler if you don’t sign contracts you don’t plan on honoring.
Not in a commie HOA. Homeowners sign the agreement stating their window dressing will be white and only white so clashing colors won't distract in the neighborhood. Do NOT ever move into an HOA. NEVER EVER!
I sent this story to Mike Smironish.
He use to be a lawyer out of Philly before he got into talk radio.
If you don’t want to die by the HOA don’t live in a HOA. I’m all for HOA’s and the tyranny that can mean but I won’t live in one. Adults are free to pick and chose. That said the HOA must enforce its bylaws in a consistent manner or she has a legit gripe.
No they don't. Not if they live in a HOA.
People who want to retain their rights need to avoid HOAs.
Are the callers illegal aliens?
CAIR members?
If someone moves into a home that has a Homeowners Association there are rules.
Obey the rules-—or leave.
The flag/pennant is inside but faces outside so there are probably rules on what can be shown outside.
She made a choice when she moved there.
