We know that gun-free zones can work to prevent gun crimes… so long as nearly impenetrable fortresses manned by armed guards surround them.
That’s why so few inmates are killed with guns by other inmates in Federal prisons.
Of course, the lack of gun-related deaths in prisons doesn’t mean that crime overall is reduced in the “gun--free” zone but that doesn’t matter because the whole concept of “gun-free” zones is an exercise in symbolism over substance.
Think about it: rapes are often perpetrated using brute force or drugs but would anyone think posting signs declaring pickup bars to be “no-rapist zones” or “no-date rape drug zones” would reduce rapes?
Liberal “gun-free zones” are based on the voluntary compliance of the very people who are about to commit heinous crimes. In the real world, people about to murder strangers are not too likely to adhere to gun-control laws of any sort.
The only people who are forced to be gun-free in “gun-free” zones are the security guards.
The people who voluntarily respect “gun-free” zones are precisely the people who would never criminally use a gun.

The logical alternative for liberals would be to push for a repeal of the Second Amendment by the amendment process provided in the Constitution. There is precedent the 19th Amendment was passed to repeal the 18th, Prohibition. This would avoid all the liberal hypocrisy about respecting the Second Amendment rights but demanding gun control. See how far repealing the Second Amendment gets when put to the people. I can’t believe some leftists like Bernie Sanders or Obama have not advocated this.
IMO, the $$ quote (as it were) was Bush Sr’s ‘one world govt’ (New World Order) quest.
You know we can’t be having THAT now. You go showing that 99% of big govt is illegal/unconstitutional/conflicting (Federal Reserve, SS, ‘income tax’, gun ‘control’, etc.) and it just might wake up the general populace to the farce...

That is the embedded brainwashing of children done in public schools and on TV. The “point of view” (Guns are Bad) (irrational and a lie) will be embedded PERMANENTLY into the subconscious of that child after a little amount of time spent in the classroom with the attitudes of Common Core being forced into the children.
ALL Common Core is created through a MARXIST/FREUDIAN LENS-—it WILL destroy any Christian Worldview (Reason/Logic/Age of Reason and Virtue) and replace it with the IRRATIONAL Marxist worldview....of “happy slavery”-—the Ficthe plan from 1810 that “snow is black” and the beliefs will be UNSHAKABLE. Children will be DUMB-—unable to EVER use critical thinking skills because all their foundation will be LIES and MISINFORMATION. (Emotions are embedded in children attached to the concepts-—it will create cognitive dissonance when they are adults so they will ALWAYS be immature and irrational.)
Those and other Marxist messages are being embedded into any children in public schools now DAILY. After 4 years (as Lenin stated), they will “think” like a little Marxist and be ideologues.
All Virtue is learned, modeled and habituated. Children used to NOT be separated from the family for 8 hours five days a week in American culture when INDIVIDUALISM and thinking outside the box was NORMAL. It is insane to let artificial institutions program children into mass (Marxist) conformity and control and shape all their desires and attitudes like the Prussian system did with the Hitler Youth.
WHY HAVE CHILDREN IF YOU DON”T RAISE THEM AND TRAIN THEM as is the NATURAL DUTY of all parents so they think like INDIVIDUALS instead of like lemmings????
I know-—the system is set up to FORCE you to give up your children (and only have ONE or TWO if you are “educated” (indoctrinated into Darwinian Malthusian Marxist worldview) ...to strangers programmed by Billy Ayers and Community organizers, women go out of the household so they can’t nurture and care for the family (be free to work and be controlled and taxed and tracked by the State).
We have to destroy the system, restore the Natural Family so children are nurtured, loved and truly educated in the REAL WORLD where they can practice self-initiative and how to control base emotions in a REAL Natural environment so they can learn to master it and emotions (Mature) and thinking for themselves is a FACT, and not controlled 24-7.

I’ve got an article from GUNS AND AMMO magazine about forty five years ago about how the criminals inside California prisons were secretly manufacturing guns to kill others. Even the ammo was handmade.
Bank I once worked for posted signs saying no guns were allowed inside the building. Management never realized how illogical it was to force people carrying sometimes substantial amounts of cash to leave their protection when entering the bank. Further, the bank itself was already a target because it housed cash and bad guys wanted it. Management’s excuse for the decision was “on advice of counsel”. Needless to say, we lost several good customers over the policy.
Ironically the same bank in a liberal section of the city was robbed by an individual displaying a note claiming to have a gun. Per standard policy, the doors were locked and customers asked to stay to be interviewed by the FBI. One female customer, previously unaware that a robbery was taking place, went into a panic and started screaming “ Oh my god, they could have had a gun. I could have been shot.” She later mentioned that she was going to talk to her attorney about suing the bank for the stress she endured. I felt like saying: “But mam, the bank has a no gun policy.” Never heard if a suit was filed but I’m sure she could find a bottom feeder if she looked hard enough.
Another bank I worked for was robbed and this time a gun was displayed. On taking cash from the tellers, the robber warned against setting off an alarm. As he exited, an alarm did go off. He re-entered the bank, went to the teller cage, and killed the teller. It would have been nice if an armed individual could have saved her. All of the teller’s co-workers had to be treated for the trauma they witnessed. Point being, if you’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t, why not choose the alternative that gives people an opportunity to preserve life.
