Hey, if he behaved himself, he wouldn’t be out of a job due to on camera misbehavior.
There’s a quick and reliable fox for that - stop doing stupid shyt.
Stick to just doing your job and don’t worry about getting caught on camera and everything will turn out OK.
fox=>fix
I think a lot of the concern is that the facade of perfection is getting dinged.
“But for hours preceding that, mayors, police chiefs, U.S. attorneys and even FBI Director James Comey privately vented in a Washington ballroom that they dont really understand the alarming spike in murders...”
Duh! Crime is rampant in rat controlled cities. Get rid of democrats, and crime goes down, as demonstrated by Mayor Guilliani in NYC.
Next question.
How would these leftist freaks feel about being video taped at work? And videos posted on YouTube.
Oh wait, I forgot, they don’t work.
Erasing the thin blue line will not help anybody.
Not even the thugs. Because many of the good people shoot back!
Funny thing about cameras. Depending on when you turn it on and off you can create the illusion of anything you want. The notion the camera is “honest” is about as naive as it gets.

I think the response to Columbine should have opened everyones eyes as to what is going on with the cops. Lives could have had a chance of being saved, but the cops wanted to make sure everyone was dead, so it would be safe for them to enter.
Never forget, it is only the Law that protects people like you. Take it away and you will not last a day.
I think the number of dead cops at Fort Hood should make people like you open your eyes.
True nuff... you can’t really blame that on the videomania.
I think it is thin blue illusions that are being challenged.
If a little talk and a few pictures can erase the law, it’s mighty weak isn’t it?
The sound like a bunch of crybabies here, to be frank.
“Boo-hoo, the new widespread availability of recording devices is making it harder for us to get away with stuff we shouldn’t be doing.”
What’s that usual law enforcement line? “If you’re not breaking the law, what are you afraid of?” Well officers, what are you afraid of?
It even goes beyond partial and edited video. A camera pointed at the wrong angle can give an entirely different view of things by obstructing essential elements of a situation. Audio recordings don’t always pick up everything they need to.
And then there is the interpretation issue. No matter how much of a kung fu ninja master a cop may be, physically restraining someone who doesn’t want to be restrained or who wants to injure others never looks good. Three or four cops holding onto some gangbanging animal hopped up on all sorts of goofballs will look like they’re just beating some poor innocent minority to death rather than just trying to cope with the drugs, adrenaline, fear, and anger of a monster.
I’ve seen videos where it looks like a cop is trying to kill a pinned bad guy with his metal baton, striking him repeatedly but where it turns out the bad guy had a handgun he wouldn’t let go of which he would gleefully kill those cops with if given half the chance. There’s a great one floating around social media of a cop shooting some guy in the back. Without slow-motion and highlighting the viewer never notices the gun the thug has.
Video can be a useful tool. Unfortunately far too often it is held up to be the gold standard in the same way that massive forensic evidence has become expected thanks to the effect of shows like CSI. It is given more weight than it deserves and the worst is always suspected when it isn’t available.
It’s sometimes hard to tell who’s heading more quickly to the cowards camp. The thugs or the modern incarnation of officers.
If fleeting public image is the basis of your good or evil, face it you don’t even know good or evil.
Yep, accountability sucks. Police need to do a better job policing themselves. It’s been known for a long time. Get to it boys.
The only cops that care about this are the ones afraid of having their idiotic behavior caught of camera for all to see... officers like Michael Slager, who totally would have gotten away with it too if not for having been unfortunate enough to have had his actions recorded.
