Sending Rubio a case of Spring Water is considered Character Assassination?

Wow, just wow. The Liberal Media is in it for the long game.

Wet work? Oh, clever, like character assassination? I think Marco did that himself with his amnestia. What Trump did was more along the lines of pranking.

This from the people who have been trying to take him down every possible chance they get?

To laugh.

Rubio’s doing a fine job of assassinating his own character, IMHO. First immigration, now he’s pandering to BLM.

There are things I like about Rubio. He’s young, charismatic, and very good on some issues. And he absolutely nailed it in the second debate when made his prediction about what Putin was going to do in Syria. But it also seems like he’s too quick to buddy up with the establishment, and too quick to pander, for my tastes. He doesn’t inspire me with confidence that he’d stand firm in the face of a tough fight on the Hill, the way I believe Cruz would.

Just MHO, of course.

The media is just mad because they don’t get to take him out.

From the Russian, “mokry dela” - “wet work” - a euphemism for assassination.

I can envision Ronald Wilson Reagan, a man of true, consistent class, stooping to this level and doing this...

Actually, the posted article calls this kind of attack “legitimate and effective”.

Funny but sophomoric. I’m not sure we want a President who is thinks it’s funny to short sheet the bed in the state guest house.

Yeah, you’re right! We do need someone more serious, like that is a requirement these days. Just look at how that has worked out. Serious or a bit of humor, I’ll take humor with malicious intent at least toward our enemies.

I wish Trump well. I kinda’ like his brash bold style. It’s refreshing.

Rubio? Not so much.

Politics is the bloodiest of sports. If you don’t like it, don’t watch.

What Trump is doing is a time-honored political tactic, defining your enemy in unflattering terms. The Dems did it to Ford (clumsiness) with that stair stumble, Repubs did it to Dukakis (soft on crime) with Willie Horton and the Kitty question, etc. All deadly labels that killed campaigns.

So Trump’s team is similarly trying to tag Rubio as a guy with a sweat problem. Got everyone talking, didn’t they?

The water thing is a moniker that Rubio loves to use a a cute ploy. It came about because Rubio stopped in virtually mid sentence in a live setting to take a drink of water. The media dogs just railed about it.

So now Rubio always has his own water bottle to show everyone at every public appearance. His sweating has nothing to do with the water. It is just another personal trait that can be attacked because the Israelis use it as a profiling trait when using their EL AL security screening.

As for Trump using it as a dig and a little fun, it sure beats lying about someone or issues. Marco lied to me personally to my face about his immigration stance as well as to every other Florida voter. He did it without notes and in retrospect he had it so rehearsed that he was believable.

Marco Rubio lied to us from his heart. Inexcusable, unforgivable and now an indicator that the tried and true security profile trait used by Israel may just be our best indicator that he is still lying to us from his heart.

More than just getting everyone to talk, it paints Rubio as a sweater (i.e. never let 'em see you sweat).

This paints Rubio as a junior player, a rube, someone not ready for prime time...a kid.

There are a lot of things going on that did not go on during Reagan’s time. I bet Senate Republicans in leadership were not sponsoring non=-profits in order to get money to use against conservatives in their own party then either. And I bet they were not interjecting a bunch of candidates to break up voting blocks like they are now. Were it not for Trump, everyone but Bush would be toast. We have two choices, Trump or Bush. I refuse to vote for Bush so Trump it is and hopefully he will pick Cruz or Carson as vice and put the other one in his cabinet...that way we get a trifecta.
