Carly Fiorina has emerged as the Republican candidate of the moment in conservative fundraising circles, drawing the notice of the billionaire Koch brothers and other wealthy donors who could instantly remake her shoestring presidential campaign.
Fiorina's show-stealing performance in a Republican presidential debate last month, and her subsequent surge in the polls, has prompted industrialists Charles and David Koch to take a serious look at the former Hewlett-Packard chief executive, according to three sources close to the brothers.
She has now moved to the short list of candidates the Kochs may support with their reported $1 billion war chest, the sources said. Florida Senator Marco Rubio is among those on the coveted list, the sources said.

Was this written two or three weeks ago?
Meanwhile, federal court fines HP $56 million for bribing officials around the world for business contracts, starting with Russia in 2000, when Fiorina took over HP.
Yeah, can we please bury this campaign where it belongs? She's starting to make Yeb look good.
They can warm alln they like. I won’t vote for this goofy woman.

Exaggerate much Reuters?
More like a surprise performance. It helps when you get the questions in advance and have time to sharpen your delivery and body language.
She fooled no one - except those in the msm and RINO’s.
The race will winnow down to 4. Unfortunately Ted Cruz will not be one of the 4. He can not catch on with folks who do not live and breathe politics. Damn shame.
Anyway it will eventually come down to Trump, Carson, Rubio and Fiorina.
“Koch brothers, other 2016 mega donors warm to Carly FioRino, as their other choices failed as they tried to get started thanks to Trump!
LOLOLOL.
Go ahead - throw yer money away.
,,,, Sad ,,,, very Sad news
I doubt whether Reuters has an inside track on what the Koch Brothers are thinking.
Seeing as how she is a democrat in the Republican party, why am I not surprised?
Well kiss her butt good bye unless she moves over and runs with shillary.....two peas in same pod.....
The Koch brothers first and foremost are RINOs. David Koch is pro-queer, pro-abortion and pro-drugs. So I can see where they’d support RINO Carly. She’s one of them, if not her Rubio will do.
Koch brothers, other 2016 mega donors warm to Carly FiorinaThe most mysterious donation, one that is actually being investigated by the FEC, concerns a $500,000 contribution from one of Ted Cruzs super PACs, Keep the Promise 1. It is currently unknown why this donation was made.
Ted Cruzs campaign actually has four super PACs, all funded by Robert Mercer, a Long Island hedge fund magnate and climate change denier. Combined, they raised $31 million in the first four weeks of his campaign.Could be a result of Cruz's dismal showing so far...Contributors to these super PACs include: Koch brothers political network, 97% of which came from a single contribution from Robert Mercer himself....
Stuck at number 6 waiting for someone to die so he doesn't have to show any effort to improve.
“Anyway it will eventually come down to Trump, Carson, Rubio and Fiorina.”
Not according to the bunghole from Iowa in one of the earlier posts today. He says that “by January, the list may be winnowed down to a top 5 and a bottom 5!”
Her blip in the polls?
No kidding. A complete waste of time and money.
The Koch Bros tried to pathetically co-opt the TEA Party wave and now they’ve shown us their TRUE colors by supporting FioRINO and The Rube.
I wouldn’t be surprised if these RINO Bros join up with the COC, and add to the $100M COC has pledged to oust conservatives.
Carly is good on abortion/Planned Anti-Parenthood, but she stinks on some other issues. The Koch’s give to many candidates. I think that is good because they help fund a variety of voices on the right. I may not perfectly agree with them, but I appreciate that they give to many candidates because some of the candidates I do like.
