In an apparent break with the Obama White House, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton called for the creation of a no-fly zone inside Syria Thursday, the day after Russian warplanes started bombing rebels fighting the regime of President Bashar al-Assad.
“I personally would be advocating now for a no-fly zone and humanitarian corridors to try to stop the carnage on the ground and from the air, to try to provide some way to take stock of what’s happening, to try to stem the flow of refugees,” Clinton said in an interview with NBC affiliate WHDH in Boston after a campaign event nearby.

I propose a “NO-PIAPS” zone over the USA.
A common sense rule in warfare:
If someone is trying to kill your enemy LET THEM!
If you want a no fly zone there Hillery, just ask the man in charge to set one up.

Are we going to enforce this with a carrier group on the Persian Gulf? Really? Against Iran’s interests?
Oh, and we’re going to enforce it after Russia has moved in the very latest SAM’s and several combat groups? Are we prepared to take losses? How many hundred-million dollar planes are we willing to lose? How many pilots? Put an entire battle group at risk? Really?
Deciding who to back in this fight is like deciding which sewer to crawl into for a swim.
