Russia has reportedly reached an agreement with Iraq, Syria, and Iran to share intelligence about the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL)without notifying the Obama administration.
Nevertheless, President Obama, during his address to the United Nations Monday, indicated that he is willing to compromise with Iran and Russia on finding a solution to the Syrian conflict.
Lasting stability can only take hold when the people of Syria forge an agreement to live together peacefully, said Obama. The United States is prepared to work with any nation, including Russia and Iran, to resolve the conflict.
President Obama did concede that the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria is illegitimate.
Realism dictates that compromise will be required to end the fighting and ultimately stamp out ISIL, Obama noted. But realism also requires a managed transition away from Assad into a new leader and an inclusive government that recognizes that there must be an end to this chaos so that the Syrian people can begin to rebuild.
The intelligence-sharing agreement is expected to expand Russias political and military influence in the Syria conflict, reported The New York Times (NYT) on Sunday

Without US approval?
WITHOUT US APPROVAL????
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
WHY the hell would Putie want (or need) US approval?
Any nation needs Barry’s ‘approval’ about as much as fish need bicycles. And the world would be better off remembering that. Which would also mean America cuts their ‘aid’. which is a win/win.
Unfortunately with the DEMGOP, it means ‘aid’ will likely increase, not evaporate because ‘lose/lose is what we do today.
The United States is not the highest world governing body. In fact, there is none. It is not up to the USA to approve of Russia bombing the pig-free $h!t out of the towelheads.
Obama is so inept and incompetent, I feel embarrassed to be an American.
Of course instead of being reported as the humiliating epic policy failure that it is it will be spun as an Obama diplomatic success by the media.
Civil wars don't end in compromise. They end when one side or the other wins.
Iraq has realized the U.S. has abandoned them under the current Administration.
They let ISIS run wild and were not serious about it.
So in steps Russia and Iran. I imagine they will take the oil too.
Don’t leave John Kerry out of this narcissistic incompetent foreign policy. The policies he advocated when he ran for President in 2004 have now been implemented.
The only one not in the loop is Obama. Even Israel is in the loop. I just posted last weeks meeting between Putin and Net.
I’m sure Saudi Arabia is not happy that their proxy Army ISIS is about to expire. I bet they are getting a little nervous.
Where is the EU on this? They’re the most immediately threatened civilization if the current situation isn’t reversed.
Isn’t this what team Zero wanted? Less US involvement in global affairs. A more level playing field for other nations. Reap what you sow
And don’t forget Iraq.
Legacy Items To Complete:
- Close GITMO- Destroy US Economy
- Bankrupt US Treasury
- Socialize Health Care
- Open US Southern Border
- Homosexualize US Military
- Establish New Islamic Caliphate
- Reduce US Status As World Leader
- Eliminate Private Gun Ownership In The US
- Re-Educate Or Eliminate Right Wing Reactionaries
Makes sense....Putin doesn’t want the intelligence shared the terrorists
Obama is the worst type of leader. No one respects nor fears him.
Exactly.
'bumma hasn't lifted a finger to stop the slaughter of Christians and the headlong march to establish the Caliphate the and expansion of ISIS - ISIS is HIS team - he let em get a foot hold, he armed em, he bankrolled ;em.
Putin doesn't need him in the mix, Putin wants to stop ISIS's explantion - particularly in Russia - while OUR pres_ent is doing everything he can to flood the world with them - overseas and here -
But now bumma doesn't know what to do - How can he help his buddies now - the world is watching.
