Trump 22, Carson 21, Fiorina 10, Bush 7, Rubio 7, Cruz 6
Never heard of these guys. No prior polls. However, in head to head they have BUSH beating Hillary by 3, Carson beating her by 11, and Trump losing by 7. So on those grounds alone, it's goofy.

So the guy who couldn't come within 17 points of winning his party's nomination in NC would BEAT Hillary by 3? (A swing of 20 points)?? And the guy who leads would lose by 7?
But, having learned my lesson, I don't discount any polls. PPP recently had Trump up 10 in NC over Carson, up 11 over Bush, and up 3 over Hillary. So, take your pick.

It’s North Carolina. They’re still working on getting the engine back on the tracks.
South Carolina? We’re a lost cause. Yankees still sitting on our backs. Won’t let us play with cannon at The Citadel anymore. Got these carpetbaggers in Columbia called the Uniparty trying to take away our rifles and stuff.

Latter ain’t happenin. “True” depends on definition. I’m sick of “true” conservatives who go in “true” and come out libs. I’d prefer a guy who just does one or two “conservative” things that I like. Then conservatism is batting 1000.

There is nothing wrong with the poll. Just a snapshot of NC voters. Trump does not do as well as Carson with independents and black voters in the head to head matchups. In addition his signature issue trails the economy and foreign affairs among NC voters.
