There is nothing wrong with the poll. Just a snapshot of NC voters. Trump does not do as well as Carson with independents and black voters in the head to head matchups. In addition his signature issue trails the economy and foreign affairs among NC voters.

Except that this is WAY off the (liberal) PPP poll earlier. It's a pretty remarkable swing and it cries "outlier," but I'll be happy to wait till the next round of polls. Elon has no previous poll to measure against.

Still, by any stretch, a guy who can't win the nomination and losing by 15 is gonna beat Hillary by 5? No.
