John Boehner just sacrificed his career for the good of the Republican Party
Washington Post ^ | September 25, 2015 | Chris Cillizza

The stunning decision by House Speaker John Boehner to resign from office in October is a sign of not only his inability to lead a congressional party riven between its establishment and tea party wings, but also the toll fighting that fight has taken on him -- and the GOP more broadly.

I don't think Boehner ever wanted the Speakers job and wanted to quit for years. The Pope's visit was the only thing that made him want to stay and now Boehner is happy to leave.

The MSM twist is that Boehner is a victim of the conservatives. Boehner is good. Conservatives are bad.

Oh for Pete's Sake!!!!!!!!!!

Boehner quit because he KNEW he wasn't doing the job people put him in that position to do...he has NO ONE to blame but himself...

And these lib rags can be used to wipe up the crap in the gutters of every city in America, that is how useful they are!!!

Get a life, libs you have done enough damage to this Country and WE aren't going to let you do anymore and if you don't like it, take the same door out as boehner did and don't let it hit you in the butt on the way out!!!

You took that from another thread didn't you?......With that being said, why would boehner want to be in the attendance of the Pope? Nothing to gain and no selfies allowed...........

He could sniff the Holy Clothes and lick where the Holy feet stepped.

Like all the millions of other fans want to do.
