We have a president who has tied the hands of our border agents, granted administrative amnesty, encouraged a new flow of illegal immigration, and is now demanding comprehensive amnesty, citizenship, and benefits for all illegal immigrants. Rep. Kevin McCarthy, the third-ranking Republican in the House, is responding to the President with overwhelming force. Watch out, Obama:
The third-ranking House Republican, Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (Calif.), said he backs granting legal status, but not a new pathway to citizenship, to millions of immigrants in the U.S. illegally.
McCarthy stated his personal view on the contentious issue in an interview with KBAK/KBFX Eyewitness News in his hometown of Bakersfield, Calif. He signaled that the call for a provisional legal status would be included in the immigration reform principles House Republican leaders are soon to release.

why is this guy automatically going to be next?
TREY GOWDY!!!!
Let’s hope that Kevin McCarthy is shortly turned into being a “back-bencher”.
IMHO, this whole thing is being driven by the GOPe. They know that the establishment is grossly disliked by Republican voters so to try and save themselves from the wrath of Trump, they do this. Well Boner is probably happy since now he can sit at his favorite bar all day and stay drunk and reflect upon how he screwed real Americans numerous times.
What a mess.
So we go from pathetic to worse. Great.
Gowdy and Gohmert are right up there for me; also, give us a Matt Salmon, or better yet, Trent Franks (a couple of AZ boys whom I would favor).
Gowdy can be a bit of a problem just by the way he looks, sorta hostile (fine with me, but maybe a problem with the public at large).
Gohmert looks like your friendly old uncle, so maybe that’s better; and his conservative cred is impeccable.
Salmon is 100% conservative, and a fellow Arizonan; a very presentable face, with both serious and affable guises.
Franks would be my favorite of all; but maybe he, like Gowdy, might have trouble with his all-business, cleft-lip visage (although to me, it’s a tough-guy look, which I would find admirable).
Anybody else have local faves?
NO McBoehner!
Correct. The fix is in. Otherwise, Bonehead wouldn’t be going anywhere.
Has anyone ever pulled at his scalp. I wouldn’t be surprised to see his rubber white face pull away revealing a stinking mexican infiltrator.
I posted this on another thread earlier, but this one seems more on point.
Just for conversation sake, there are 15 Republican Representatives with a 100% Conservative rating by ACU for 2013. And, at least one of them retired (Bachmann). Im not saying a 100% rating is required or even desired, but it is a good place to start the conversation. There are many in the 95-100 range.
Sanford, S.C.
Duncan, S.C.
Gowdy, S.C.
Mulvaney, S.C.
Jordan, Ohio
Garett, N.J.
Scalise, Louis
Pompeo, Kansas
Labrador, Idaho
Radel, Flor
DeSantis, Flor
McClintock, Cali
Salmon, Ariz
Schweikert, Ariz
Bachmann, Ill.
Gowdy gets a 76% score (B) on immigration issues with NumbresUSA.
Plus he too often is the “much wind and thunder, little rain” kind of guy.
We can do better.
