And you have never addressed why Walker REPEALLED instate tuition for illegals mere months after taking office in 2011. Gov. Scott Walker is the only governor/state that has done that (I believe 18 other states still have it). He’s a executive who knows you start (and don’t stop) removing the magnets.

People around the nation were behind Governor Walker’s battle with the union bosses and in his recall battle (350K individual donors) - not much support from the GOP, and certainly not from the union bosses and their allies (from around the world) who fought him so hard, and lost. Walker is the only governor to survive a recall election (and then went on to win reelection - 3 elections in 4 years).

Trump’s target is Walker. He’s done nothing to harm the GOPe. All their candidates are polling a total of 32%, more than enough to hand the nomination over to Jeb.

Trump’s faker than a $3 Obama bill.

Walker can't attract rational voters because he changed his position on ANCHOR BABIES.

That's easily the dumbest thing I've read this morning.

I don’t agree with you, but I like your style: a man with the guts to go on record with a straightforward prediction.

Yes, I understood that when I said “national labor unions.”

When they are involved, all sorts of other groups are aligned and included, but you’re still talking a state level battle.

Look, you can go on and on about his record and it is all likely true. But my belief is there is no fire in the belly here and nothing thus far in the presidential campaign has gotten it across - much like many of the other candidates who are also floundering.

I’m not trying to be mean, but I am also aware of some of what drives the ire against GOP establishment, and the record to date for Walker isn’t one where people recognize that ire in him. It may be untrue or not immediately evident, but there it is. No fire, and unless something changes, no amount of tilting at windmills will fix it.

However you want to see it, frame it, slice, dice and sell it, Trump is clearing the path for a Jeb Bush presidency.

There is no one who can resurrect the candidacy of Jeb. He's a bad candidate in normal times, not telegenic, not well spoken, is simply a mealy mouthed milquetoast, and right now that's death to any candidate.

Trump paving the way for Jeb?

Hardly.

That's easily the dumbest thing I've read this morning.

Why? Walker is less than 1%, can't draw flies, and has a hand full of die-hards, like Wifey that can see no bumps on this guy.

Yes, he is a good gubbernor, and should stay in WI with the cheeseheads, packers, his harley and go shopping at Kohls for a new hunting shirt.

If you think that is dumb, I don't give a fat rat's ass.

And you have never addressed why

Dodge the question with a question.

I've said many times that Walker was/is a good gubbernor and a good man.

I donated to his re-call campaign, and his second run for gubbernor, but not one thin dime for him as President.

You refuse to see and acknowledge his slip/slops and you can't understand why everyone doesn't agree with you and the 6 other Walker fanatics.

I’m a “fanatic?”

Walker has a record of accomplishment.

What has your candidate done to show their chops - accomplishments that give us proof of how they’ll govern?

See, I feel people who go for the personality - the big talkers - are delusional and responsible for keeping workhorse conservatives out of office and for people like Obama.

Walker’s opponents in WI (and by extension the Left nationally) know where Walker is on the political spectrum (and so does the GOP-e) and they sure as hell don’t want him moving against their power.

It’s a puppet show and once we realize that the actual goals of the Deep State become clear. The GOPe and Democrats are functionaries of the Deep State.

A candidate with high negatives (as Donald Trump has had in many polls) can lead in the horse race if he or she has a strong core of support. That’s especially true in a large field where the vote is fragmented. But that candidate may have little room to grow when the field shrinks.

A candidate with lower negatives and broader acceptability in their party (like Walker and Rubio) can lag in the polls if they’re not generating interest and excitement. But they may have more potential to grow if they later gain traction.

Translation: Trump has a high floor and a low ceiling.

Exactly what Rove was saying a month or two ago... not so sure he is still saying it.

My personal take is: a good campaigner with the right message can blow through ceilings. Also, positive/negative ratings can be just as fluid as "who will you vote for" polling numbers.

This election has two possible outcomes, Trump or a democrat as president.

If Trump wins the nomination, he will win president.

If Trump loses the nomination, Hillary or any one of the other rats will win president.

The reason for this will be because the GOP will find a way to get jebbie nominated or they will work 24x7 to sabotage any non establishment nominee. If Cruz or Walker through some miracle got the nomination, they would NEVER be allowed to finish. If the GOP gets jebbie or another preferred establishment candidate nominated, they will be the candidate that stands for nothing and they will LOSE big time.

I agree

A pattern for what?

How and why in the world would Trump be helping Jeb? If nothing else, we have Trump to thank for pulling Jeb down where he belongs: Irrelevancy.
