Have pity, vote for Joe because you feel sorry for him.

Will the Gaffe-O-Matic be de-gaffe-inated before he’s elected? If he isn’t the US will definitely be the laughingstock of the world even more so than it is now.

Friends did say I must have had rocks in my head to select geology as a major, given the job outlook at the time. I also took up space in college, taking several courses in astronomy.

A few observations:

I watched this sappy dredge the other night. Only sad violin music was missing from this set up left wing love piece. Does anyone think a conservative will ever get this kind of opportunity?

Only a socialist POS like Colbert can make even make Letterman look moderate.

The late night format that Johnny Carson created has fully morphed into a left wing political tool by the MSM.

Carson wasn't pristine, but he was 10 levels above the idiots occupying this space now.

Liberal candidates for POTUS:

Vote for me because I am black!

Vote for me because I am a woman!

Vote for me because I suffered the loss of my son!

“What “people” want Joe Biden for president?”

People who don’t like egomaniacs and bullies I guess.

The DNC is in a quandary as the slow-motion self-destruction of Hillary continues to unfold. The fact that their only plausible alternatives to her are a couple of septuagenarians is indicative of the shallowness of the Democratic "bench", as both Clinton and Obama have between them pretty much scorched the earth on that side.

Biden will be 73 in November and it's hard to see why he or his family would want to go through the ordeal of what will undoubtedly be a grueling contest next year when the alternative is to just wait out his tenure as Vice President and enjoy a comfortable retirement with dignity.

Should he run, reluctantly or otherwise, the albatross of Obama's record will be hung around his neck at every turn. Not a pleasant prospect.

Of course, all this speculation about Biden assumes that Hillary will go quietly, and that's far from certain. Far more likely is she will have to be dragged physically from the stage via indictments, and that would be an exceptionally ugly prospect for the DNC, especially given what Hillary (and Bill) undoubtedly know (and would use) about those who would try to take her down. It may turn out that the DNC's only practical course may well be do allow her to go down in flames in the general rather than risk greater scandal in trying to remove her. They can console themselves that after 8 years of Obama, the historical odds against a D successor are not good and it would at least give them the "coup" of being the first party to run a woman at both the top and bottom of a national ticket.

No arguments with your observations - Carson was a class act compared to anything we have today. I liked Leno too, but had stopped watching those type programs by the time he got rolling. The dregs we have left are just mouthpieces of the Left and totally classless.

We already have a Speaker of the House who cries, we don’t need another Cry Baby.
