Thus, they are Iranian assets being returned to Iran. No funding involved.

the Corker bill, terrible as it is did say all the information had to be given to congress withing something like a week. It wasn’t done. I’m totally lost as to why there has to even be a vote. Obama didn’t abide by the law. Why is there some question about that?
I guess the silver lining here is this agreement is owned by the Dems completely. It’s unpopular today and will even more so by the election. Any cheating, inevitable i believe, will be worn in bright colors by every Dem who voted to permit it.

I thought the senate was to ratify treaties and the president could veto them. If he did, then the senate could vote to override the veto.
In this case Obama went out and “ratified” a treaty and the senate voted to not “un-ratify” it. When did they start voting on “negatives”?
