Ted Cruz gave a great speech today thats gotten quite a bit of news coverage as he called on both Boehner and McConnell to stop this deal from happening. You can watch it below:
He did. Laid out plain for gope and let banks know they would be screwed in they returned the money.Levin good. Then they returned to GOPe leadership, back to HGTV.
There have been several good speeches given at the rally today. The one delivered by Cruz was certainly one of them.

HOLY COW!
You are looking at the man who must be president. Just...wow.
That was simply OUTSTANDING!!!

Wasn’t it, though? And that ending...
As the late comedian Jerry Clower used to say, “He was forevah shellin’ the corn!”
I watched both Trump and Cruz at the rally. Cruz referred to “the next president” while Trump said “before I take office”.
I attended the rally. Cruz’s speech was the best IMO.
Unfortunately there was really nothing new in Trump’s speech. I wish he would start being more specific about how he is going to accomplish better things for the country. I like Trump’s spirit but he too often speaks repetitively in generalities and of personalities. His supporters deserve more from him IMHO.

Thank you for representing us.
No problem. I cheered as loud as I could. ;)
It was hot as blazes but in my estimation the crowd was at last 5,000 (based on the similar number of people attending some minor league baseball games I attend; I think that’s a pretty good number).
Code Pink attempted to drown out our speakers with bullhorns but the Capitol Police moved them off the grounds. A disruptor attempted to interrupt Sarah Palin but was quickly removed from the stage. Sarah stood her ground and kept speaking like nothing was happening. She was great!
Now if we can get Ted to promise to go after those now violating our national security, etc. with the same fervor he'll win over more voters. Sure, Obama can pardon a bunch to remove their criminal liability. Their engenders some political cost to the Democrats in general, to Obama in particular and also to those pardoned. Has Bill Clinton EVER mentioned that he received a Pardon from Carter for his draft dodging? He clearly was covered under Carter's blanket pardon. Those so pardoned would have zero Fifth amendment grounds for refusing to tell their ENTIRE story under oath before Congressional committees, Obama just immunized them. If they refuse, charge them with contempt of Congress which I don't think can be pre-empted by any Obama pardon, because the crime hasn't yet been committed. And unlike Obama's, Cruz's Justice Department would prosecute such. Let all the truth out where the public can see it or serve time in spite of your their pardons. That may be as good as we can get with this gang, but it needs to be done.
