Most S.C. Republican primary voters want a president with no prior elected political experience, according to a new poll released Tuesday to The State.
A Public Policy Polling survey found Donald Trump would win 37 percent of the vote from S.C. Republicans and Ben Carson would pick up 21 percent. The rest of the crowded GOP field of 17 candidates was struggling in the single digits.

About a week ago, there was a Monmouth poll. Trump 30 Graham 4. LOL. Trump zinged him in a tweet about being 26 behind. This one is worse for Lindsey.
He did say he'd beat Trump's brains out if he came to SC, didn't he? Donald must be softly chuckling at that.
I promise you, CNN evening programming is doing just fine toward Trump as my replacement for Baier. Now, they may turn the corner any day on that, but since the Me-again Kelly fiasco, I have thoroughly enjoyed the Trump coverage.
Morning Joe is outright and up front mocking Hillary DAILY and that’s been hilarious at times. They are friends with Trump, take his calls, have him on, or on remote. They are defending his staying power and have from nearly the beginning.
I am all but FOX free. I still record my least favorite, HANNITY, and I record GRETA, though I don’t watch religiously even them. If Trump comes on FOX, I will watch.
Cruz and Jebby are tied for 3rd place with 6 each, so Jeb is beating Lindsey... LOL
I think Cruz is ready to flex his muscles. He has the Iran deal protest rally coming up. He’s brought in Trump. He is going to shut down the government over Planned Parenthood, or else the government is going to defund them.
Two big events and lots of visibility, just in time for Labor Day week campaign kick off.

What exactly has Carson done to get an increase?
His campaign was mostly floundering but then he gave a few nice stories at the debate. I cannot think of anything else he’s done on the campaign trail. I am wondering if the media/left/GOPe are pushing him for a reason.
Nice man and I like him but I don’t see him as president. We’ve got to get the economy moving and I am not sure he’s the man to do it.
