Last night, MSNBC noted a Clinton connection to the story that Barack Obama’s passport had been breached. The network reported that Maura Harty, the State Department official in charge of the Bureau Of Consular Affairs during the first two breaches of Obama’s passport, had served as an ambassador under Bill Clinton.
Today, the State Department confirmed Hillary Clinton and John McCain’s passport files had also been breached. .... More at # 16.

I think Hillary saw too much of Lucy on TV in her youth, took to heart the idea of creating scenarios, and then manipulating real life to gain some end. It seems the same conclusions always happen to her as did Lucy. Everything always gets screwed up, and she has lots of splainin’ to do.

Maggief: Do you read Monica Crowley’s column (Wash Times)? For months, her theory has been that Obama is throwing Hillary under the bus. She speculated that Obama would get behind Biden (bec he will be easier to control re: the Obama legacy).
In recent days, Biden is toe-dipping in as a Dem candidate, and Obama has been making approving noises. Tomorrow Obama is taking Jill Biden on his trip to Michigan:
If Crowley is correct (and I think she is), it is interesting that the State Dept is defying Intelligence determinations about the classified emails.

“The former secretary has a way of phrasing things that, for the most part, cast her in the best light possible,” Gowdy said during an interview on “The Mike Gallagher Show.”
“She said ‘I turned over everything, and I had no duty to do so,’” Gowdy said, pausing and then asking: “Are you kidding me?”
“What you turned over, half of it, by your own admission, is public record,” he continued. “What do you mean you had no obligation to turn over the public record? That is dumbfounding to me.”
Gowdy also criticized the State Department and Kerry for stymieing the House Select Committee on Benghazi’s investigation into how Clinton and her top aides handled the Sept. 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya.
“I guess I just assumed that Secretary Kerry would care enough about his reputation that he wouldn’t waste his capital protecting his predecessor,” Gowdy said.
He added that the Benghazi Committee is “having a very difficult time getting documents from the State Department and frankly their defense of her has been staggering.”
“It took me…a little while longer that it should have to figure out the State Department had no interest whatsoever in producing documents to me.”

As the investigation proceeds, Secretary Clinton should also be wondering how loyal her aides are. So far, they have marched in a solid phalanx with her. But whoever removed the classification markings on incoming satellite data faces years in jail. The FBI will be in a strong position to encourage them to speak “fully and frankly,” as they say in the State Department.
“(Email Czar Janice Jacobs) will not be involved in the adjudication over the content of former Secretary Clinton’s emails. She’s going to be running process improvement and records preservation across the board, not just in relation to former Secretary Clinton’s emails.”
