New details have emerged from the national story involving two Texas-based high school football players who targeted an official during last week’s game.
San Antonio Jay assistant coach Mack Breed has been accused of orchestrating the attack and has been placed on administrative leave while the situation is being investigated, according to according to the San Antonio Express-News.
Breed has been accused of telling players “this guy needs to pay for cheating us,” before San Antonio Jay’s defense took the field late in the fourth quarter.

Took a quick peek at the map to see where Jay High School is located.
Based on having lived in San Antonio this is not a place I would go. Day or night.
How stupid do they have to be to pull such a stunt in front of a large audience during a game that’s being taped and recorded at hundreds of points? Even back in my days (1970s) all the games were filmed.
School should never play another football game again. Shut it down.

The school is 83% Hispanic. Players’ names are Hispanic.

Notice at the link that Texas students are 52% Hispanic, 29% White, 13% Black. We need to do some serious deportations, immediately.

Besides the assistant coach angle, there is possibly some credibility to the claim the ref was using racist language at the players.
According to NISD Executive Director of Athletics Stanley Laing, the two players said referee Robert Watts directed racial slurs at them on multiple occasions during the game. They said the first incident came just before the second of four Jay players was ejected. The players accused Watts of using another racial slur shortly after they were ejected for hitting him.
The district is in the process of filing a complaint against Watts for the accusation he used racial slurs. District officials also plan to talk to additional football players in their investigation.

To muddle matters even more, one of the players who was ejected was not involved in the play. Officialls incorrectly tossed out senior defensive back Trenton Hobdy instead of Moreno.
So. Was a racist official and bad officiating to blame for this mess getting started?
Per some reports, the ref was wanting to file assault charges.
The ass {short for ass, not assistant} coach and players might find themselves in deeper s**t.
That video will not play well to a jury. The 2 players had helmets and pads. The ref didn’t.

Oh, but now they’re saying “he used racial slurs”,
which makes even the most violent and deadly attack justified.
