Yeah, figures that the first thing these pukes do is play the race card. From another article looks like the ref is going to fight back hard on that one with slander action.

How stupid do they have to be to pull such a stunt in front of a large audience during a game that’s being taped and recorded at hundreds of points? Even back in my days (1970s) all the games were filmed.

Not to mention their assault was the first thing to happen after the snap.

Why would the school file a complaint against the ref for using racist slurs as the players said, if it didn’t happen?

IIRC, The Ref has fourteen years refereeing at HS Games. If he was calling players the N word, I think it would have come out before now.

My high school alma mater is slated to play John Jay this coming weekend.

Jay used to have good teams back in the day and the school WAS decent. If anyone remembers the ‘Bruise Brothers’ Lyle and Glenn Blackwood, they played for Jay when I was a young lad, but I remember them well. They went on to play in the NFL for many years.

My how times change and things evolve.

Somebody is blowing smoke. The coach supposedly said go get the ref for cheating them but then the players claim he was making racist remarks. What you do is take the film and go from there. Sounds like this bunch of losers were bad sports and committing flagrant penalties on several plays. End their sport careers and file charges against them, the school, the coaches and cancel the football season for that team. Maybe they will wake up and discover that school is designed for learning something other than how to play games.

SA Jay used to be a majority white HS. It was South San Antonio that was rough back in the 60’s. I played for Del Rio and South San was noted for its street toughness. There was a school in North Texas, Burkburnett, that was playing Olney in the early 1960’s and the fans hit the referees after the game for calling an awful game. Texas NIL folks didn't take too well to that and suspended Burkburnett for the entire next year and they couldn't play a high school football game. I believe they played a Junior College schedule and went undefeated 6-0 and is legend. I think SA Jay is in the same territory as was Burkburnett and may suffer the same punishment.
