How stupid do they have to be to pull such a stunt in front of a large audience during a game that’s being taped and recorded at hundreds of points? Even back in my days (1970s) all the games were filmed.
School should never play another football game again. Shut it down.

Besides the assistant coach angle, there is possibly some credibility to the claim the ref was using racist language at the players.
According to NISD Executive Director of Athletics Stanley Laing, the two players said referee Robert Watts directed racial slurs at them on multiple occasions during the game. They said the first incident came just before the second of four Jay players was ejected. The players accused Watts of using another racial slur shortly after they were ejected for hitting him.
The district is in the process of filing a complaint against Watts for the accusation he used racial slurs. District officials also plan to talk to additional football players in their investigation.

IIRC, The Ref has fourteen years refereeing at HS Games. If he was calling players the N word, I think it would have come out before now.
Somebody is blowing smoke. The coach supposedly said go get the ref for cheating them but then the players claim he was making racist remarks. What you do is take the film and go from there. Sounds like this bunch of losers were bad sports and committing flagrant penalties on several plays. End their sport careers and file charges against them, the school, the coaches and cancel the football season for that team. Maybe they will wake up and discover that school is designed for learning something other than how to play games.
Put all involved in jail and sell their families to the mussies.
Then the Asst coach needs to go down also. Those two players committed assault. They need to be punished harshly.
