GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump is learning quickly to adjust on the campaign trail, says former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
"I think he's modulating. He's learning," Gingrich said Sunday on "Face the Nation" in reference to Trump meeting with the head of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
"The one thing I've always found to be true with Trump is, I think he learns faster than any other political figure I've known except Bill Clinton," Gingrich said.
The Trump you see today won't be the same Trump you see a month from now, Gingrich said.
He said Trump, Ben Carson and Carly Fiorina can be seen as a "team" because their supporters see the trio of non-politicians as a way to make a statement that "we're sick of all you regular guys."
"I think this there is a desire on the part of the American people, which I largely agree with, to profoundly change the current terms of American politics and government," Gingrich said.
"They want somebody in different formats: They want calm, stable, Dr. Carson, they want energetic CEO Carly Fiorina, they want aggressive, hard-charging Ted Cruz, or they want bombastic, loud" Trump.

Big, big, big mistake. I really never got over it.
No, I don’t want Carly, nor do I want Ben Carson. I just watched a clip of him with Don Lemon on CNN - and he tap dances around a lot of the questions. He was asked about the incident with Jorge Ramos and even though he didn’t criticize Trump - he said each person would handle situations differently. I give him that, but, that tells me he would have wimped out and let Jorge control the floor. He also has apologized for things he has said such as a person isn’t born gay - and used the example of men going to prison straight and coming out gay. He caught heat for that and then apologized for his comments. He is a nice guy, but, not ready for prime time. I hope people see these things.

Trump does have the “it” factor and may actually be a true executive as opposed to the clown that occupies the white hut right now. The country now is rudderless and an embarrassment. There is much work to be done after the grifters and moochers leave our house.
Look at that photo again. He isn’t smiling. In fact, it looks like more of an “Oh $h!t” moment. He looks like he’s just realized, too late, that he’s sitting beside the devil’s tutor and that it will probably cost him his political future. And it did.
Nancy Pelosi looks like she is realizing what she’s done too.
Ignore idiotic photos. Newt is a decent fellow. I would not be putting Fiorina in the group. Too may ties to GOPe. Carson is not in a leadership role, though he oozes integrity. As was said earlier in the thread, not ready for prime time based on answers he gives. Trump/Cruz.
Many people don’t realize that even though politicians disagree philosophically, they can get along socially.
