Washington (CNN)Republican front-runner Donald Trump said Friday that he wished a Kentucky county clerk, Kim Davis, was not jailed for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, but he added that the Supreme Court has ruled and it is "the law of the land."

The real question is why hasn’t Hillary been indicted yet.

Except it’s not the law of the land. It’s the result of judicial activists unconstitutionally overruling the will of the people.

And in ISIS-controlled territories, Sharia law is the law of the land.

Well, that’s a relief. I was worried about ISIS killing Christians. But, as long as it’s the “law of the land”, then I suppose it’s all right.

Until Congress impeaches those justices, it is the law of the land.

The clerk came up with a common sense approach. Just remove her signature from the form and she will issue them.

I’m sure Trump didn’t know this option, when he supported the rule of law.
