The Friday politics panel of CNN’s New Day agreed that Republican Jeb Bush’s presidential campaign was in trouble, citing his poor poll numbers and his wooden attacks on Donald Trump.

CNN’s John King noted that while Trump’s poll numbers have gone up and Ben Carson more than tripled his support, Bush’s support has fallen from 12% down to 8% in the newest Monmouth poll. “There’s a reason that Bush better get ‘damn mad,’” King said, quoting Bush’s attack on Trump. “He’s in trouble.”

“He’s in big trouble,” agreed AP’s Julie Pace.

The panel agreed that Bush’s “angry” attacks on Trump just didn’t feel natural.“You look at it… Donald Trump is getting in his head, and it’s showing. It’s showing on the trail,” said Daily Beast’s Jackie Kusinich.

Bush and his hanlders thought they had the winning strategy before anyone else got into the race. They were going to gobble up all the donor money - which would leave very little for other candidates - and he was to be soaring in the polls with an easy win. They forgot one thing - the American public doesn’t want him.

Bush and CLinton are BOTH in Big trouble and neither realizes it, or do they?

You don’t need no stinkin’ poll numbers to figure that out. Caspar Milquetoast looks good by comparison. Maybe if would just speak Arabic...

To get mad, Yeb has to have passion

The only passion he shows is talking spanitch to the peasants

I have never seen a more lackluster political campaigner except for Mitt Romney

Even Pat Paulson seemed to want the job more

Jeb is out.

The pundits should at least know that when a candidate crashes they don’t usually come back.

Bush is the less astute of the three Bushes, and that’s really not saying much.

Good, Jeb is so out of touch.

He’s trying to play nice with the liberal establishment/culture thinking that is his key to victory.

What he, and the GOPe don’t realize is many Americans are sick, tired and fed up with our corrupt liberal establishment/culture.

I do enjoy that many Americans have awaken it seems as they are ignoring the liberal establishment’s, including the media’s, default establishment candidate for the Republicans. I guess it’s that old, “fool me once” saying playing out this time.

Funny thing is that Right To Rise is making Bush Campaign spend their own money first on ads in New Hampshire.

If the poll numbers don’t move, Right To Rise is not going to spend any money to followup the Jeb Campaign money in NH.

Be careful. We need Jeb to hang on long enough that it will be too late for Romney to jump in.

Jeb is much worse than Romney. Romney had a floor at 20% in the polls and never went much bellow it. Plus he was very efficient in destroying his opposition in the debates.

That “crack” CNN team is all over it. Maybe they should do their broadcast in Spanish and see how their ratings fare?

If the opposition was conservative. Against Obama, not so much.
