Blah blah blah.

Don’t do it Donald. Not yet.

The Donald should create a contract affirming he will not run as an Independent IF the NRC and the other eligible candidates will affirm that they will support him once he is nominated.

Printed Signature blocks for Reince Priebus, Chairman, RNC,
and each remaining eligible Republican Candidate.

Which of them would sign?

He will disappoint me if he does. That is surrendering to Bush. As a Republican with no 3rd party out the gopes only have to keep him from getting outright majorities in at least 8 state primaries to preclude him from consideration at the Convention

What Trump commits to doesn’t matter. In the end, he’s going to do what serves his interests. So, trying to get him to give some kind of commitment not to go 3rd party is a pointless exercise.

In before the “I don’t care what he says now, he’ll do something different when the time comes because he is working for Hillary” crowd arrives.

If Trump signs the pledge, he will sabotage himself and dynamite his base of support.

Why would anyone believe such a pledge

"The RNC’s pledge is thought to be largely aimed at Trump, who has refused to rule out an Independent run if he loses the GOP nomination race."

If the GOP intends to nominate a RINO, which is the only reason the GOP would want Trump to sign a pledge, it won't make any difference because the RINO will lose whether Trump goes third party or not.

I’m thinking that this “Breaking News” yesterday about Trump’s close connection with, and Donations to, Al Sharpton and his racist organization, took the wind out of Trump’s sail. Read the FR thread linked below. Many of his Conservative supporters are abandoning ship. Close to 400 posts on this thread last night.

Why does this pre-selection pledge exist?

Will the people finally realize that they don't pick the nominee...the powers do.

At this point he doesn’t need to concern himself with a third party run. He is now ENTRENCHED in the lead and any obvious sabotage of his campaign will result in massive amounts of voters DRAFTING him to run third party.

He has done magnificently so far and, unfortunately for the GOP establishment, the die is cast.

My hope is that Trump will destroy those in the GOPe who have been bought and no longer represent the people. I hope there isn’t even the smoldering ashes left when this is over. This pledge aside, it seems to me he has the best chance to do this running as a Republican.

I had a dream just last night that I watched a TV show and Trump went into Rancid Pubes office and said: “You’re fired!” I’m hoping Karl Rove gets fired in Episode 2 tonight.

If you kick butt your first term, i’d say, go third party when you run for your second term.

Ask others in state and local offices to join you. :)
