Someone is scr***** with these polls. Who the hell is all voting for this guy?? and why??
I wonder if Allen West regrets not getting in considering how well anti-establishment candidates are doing and how eager some of the voters still are to “prove they’re not racist” by backing a black candidate.
I have seen little of him in the news, haven’t seen his crowd size. Somebody reported he had problem obtaining donations. Thus, I was surprised his sudden surge. Could it be supporters of other candidates and Dems wanting to deflate Trump’s numbers?
Carson is there to split the IOWA caucus votes. He is a sacrificial anode and just a “useful idiot” for the establishment.
If a candidate being religious is important so someone, they would have no reason to back Trump. He’s clearly not any kind of student of religion or a regular practicer of any kind of faith. He’s so moderate with religion that if he were a Muslim he wouldn’t even support jihad.
HOW did Carson go from single digits to >20% in a week?
Did he say something really really interesting?
I mean, I like the doctor but c’mon.
Do you need to ask?
“I like Carson and what he says, but i just dont see the toughness necessary to go eyeball to eyeball with Vlad Putin, the chicoms, the NORKs, or some raghead muzzie.”
But Trump does? All he does is blow hot air on @twitter, how #megynIsMeanToMe, and fire back at #meanNastyFoxNews.
Isn't it funny that suddenly they understand the religious right - just enough to manipulate the polls and the spin to try to hurt Trump.
- he is anti-liberty on vaccines
I give him a pass on this. He knows way more about this then we could only dream about.
I am done trying to figure out what Trump should or shouldn’t do. He defies the standards.
EXcuse me, but a medical practice is most certainly a business!
A bone spur is a real diagnosis and the military won’t take people with bone spurs.
There was a column earlier about how the GOPe, maybe without Carson knowing, is trying to push him up and siphon votes from Trump long enough to prop up Yeb and/or Marco.
I think you will see Walker rise and Carson deflate as folks fess up.
I think that’s some of it. But it’s also clear he is taking support from Yeb and Marco and Walker. But I agree, if it’s Trump vs. Walker or Trump vs. Yeb or Marco, almost all of Carson’s votes go to Trump. He will clearly be there through some of the early primaries, and it will be a bargaining chip for an administration spot.
The poll said only 12% decided.
"I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons and I support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun. " The America We Deserve, by Donald Trump, p.102 , Jul 2, 2000
he claims to be pro-life but apparently used to refer certain patients to abortionists.
"Carson told the Baltimore Sun in 1992, As a physician who does not believe in abortion, when faced with a patient who has severe medical problems, I would refer someone for an abortion.""
"Trump clarified his views on abortion, saying he favors abortion rights, but respects those who oppose his position. I believe it is a personal decision that should be left to the women and their doctors, he said." Associated Press , Dec 2, 1999
It seems as though Trump held even more liberal positions on those issues than Carson in the past, and both of them have espoused much more conservative positions on these issues more recently. Are you willing to accept Trump's change of position as sincere, but unwilling to do the same for Carson? If so, why the difference? If not, then these issues should be moot and not have any impact on your opinion of Carson.
“Since Mr. Carson launched his campaign in March, it has raised $10.6 million and spent $5.8 million, 72% of which went to fundraising costs, including phone banks, direct mail and email lists, according to a campaign official.”
IOW somebody is propping him up in order to help him fundraise and continue as a disruptor. a scam. it also seems about a bit under 24% of his donors are drs. and shrinks.
Me neither, I think the poll is a scam
