I have to say, after watching 2 full rally speeches from Mr. Trump, I have to say this simply...
While ideologically he certainly is not as conservative as many would like, unless something drastically changes, this election is his to lose and its not hard to see why.
He is the only person taking on the press and calling out the horrific stupidity of the political class for all the crap that has been going on for decades without restraint.
Lots of time to go in this cycle, but no flub, or gotcha press nonsense is going to take him out, the RNC and GOPe have no shot of taking him out.

Cruz is my first choice.
But I’ll take Trump to destroy the Republican elites. Send them all into retirement.
Clean house of the RINOs.
Trump can actually win. Jeb can’t and that’s the only alternative (the guy with $120 raised) the GOPe is giving us.
Even Ronald Reagan being the exception took him 3 tries.
It’s true about the Donald and the press. Every time they attack him, he gets the better end of it. It’s another opportunity for him to read them the riot act, and people love it.

I’m with you on this one. Cruz is also my first choice. But if Ted doesn’t get the gop nomination, and Trump does, I could vote for Trump on election day 2016.

Well, they say the pendulum swings hard. If we’ve had enough, it will swing to the right and I’m fine with that! Meanwhile I’m backing Ted Cruz and I think Trump is too. It may work out great for us after all the fluff and bubble is gone.
I have to disagree with you on the stupidity part.
It’s outright corruption and crookedness. If it were stupidity they wouldn’t be getting away with it for so long. If Trump is a double agent, or vote splitter, they’ll be getting away with it for a lot longer.
Donald Trump has turned the current election into the game show “Let’s Make a Deal” with Monty Hall and the electorate as the contestant. From our previous deals, we already have the crappy car we don’t really want. Trump is the chance to trade that for what’s behind Door #3. We have no idea what that is. It could be a Ferrari or a broken down farm tractor.
This election is about whether the American people are willing to make that trade.
Let’s be honest while we are at this. He is the only one who gets covered...for free, at that. Makes it look like the others are silent. They are not, but they certainly are not getting the benefit of media coverage like Trump. He shows up and they are ALL there, like moths to a lightbulb.

That’s an excellent analogy! I have been thinking along those same lines..ie we don’t really know what we are going to get here, but I am loving Trump right now because of how he is going after those who have stroked us so hard in the rear end for so long. I’ll take door number #3 !
I’m thinking Ted Cruz is Door #2, and I’ve got a pretty good idea what’s behind it, and would gladly make the trade. The problem is that the audience seems to be shouting for Door #3.
