Yep...my ex-neighbors were OSU fans. The day their son was born they brought the kid home wearing an Ohio State onesy. I always wondered how they could possibly know that a 1 or 2 day old would be an Ohio State fan.

Not sure about Woody, but Ohio and Michigan did get into an actual war in 1835.

Though it is true that Woody remained listed in the Columbus White Pages till the day he died. Fans and alumni could call him up to suggest plays or critique games.

Andrew Jackson thought he was screwing us in his settlement of the Toledo strip dispute but the upper peninsula proved to be exceedingly valuable many times over.
He gave the Toledo strip to Ohio in return for Ohio delivering the vote for democrats in the presidential election (Michigan was Whig territory) Ohio delivered for dems but lost the white house anyway.
He’s a good boy! I must send this article to my father. We refer to him as Bob the Buckeye. He has an absolute fit when Ohio guys end up at that school up north. (I have been conditioned never to utter the that word).
