Carpet bombing is good, for A mile square. (check the results of carpet bombing in SouthEast Asia.)

I suggest: “oh dark thrity” multiple tactical fighter strikes, within a set period of time, of multiple locations, with napalm. No time to communicate with other locations as they are getting hit, simultaneously. Napalm, for that nice Pax Carthage effect.
