Excellent analysis. The part about the HotAirs and Redstates is sadly true. They were once us, who’ve now become them.
Money quote. Through that prism, it explains the GOPe actions and motivation.
Perfect description of the FR "more Conservative than thou" types.
They keep asking "how could you support someone who...etc.," and when you tell them, they ask the same battery of questions all over again.
Pretty much right on the money. Although I wouldn’t count on Erick Erickson subbing for Rush anytime soon. :-)
IMHO, the real reason for so much vitriol is that Trump cannot be bought out by the Banksters.
The Banksters are deathly afraid that a President Trump will not bail them out when all the dirivitive bets holding up the house of cards come crashing down.
The clue that triggered this line of thinking was Chris Wallace’s bankruptcy question during the debate. Trump said that the banks who lost money on those deals, “are not nice people.”
Banksters really hate bankruptcies — look at Greece — they don’t want them to go bankrupt.
Bankruptcy in itself is not a bad thing. It is an orderly process to distribute assets when a idea does not work.
However, for the Banksters, it means they lose money but most important to them, they lose the ability to lord it over those who are enslaved by their debt instruments.
Back in the financial crisis of 2007-2008, the too big to fail banks should have broken apart and gone through bankruptcies. Instead, their losses got socialized with our taxpayer money.
Trump IMHO, would never have allowed that.
This, is a very big reason why the Banksters(establishment) are fighting tooth and nail against Trump.
This article pretty much sums it up. The shock collar I removed sometimes gives me ghost zings, and those are fading.
When you are told you’re a terrorist for wanting a better life... when you see GOP Congress critters do nothing to stop the insanity... when government agencies work against the people instead of for them... when people from other countries are more valued than Americans... you feel like you have to defend your “side” through a ideological wall, even though your “side” is just as corrupt and not conservative... this is how tyranny takes hold.
If the GOP wants a second chance, they need to earn it. I see a few people are working for forgiveness. They need to work harder if they want a chance to redeem themselves.
And I have to work harder. Sometimes that requires not mouthing off but for a different reason.
Thank you Donald Trump and everyone involved in this.
There are principled conservatives who also cannot stand Trump because he is not a conservative.
Totally incomplete article
In the other corner you have: Beck, Krotchammer, Rove, Bush, establishment progressives
I am a dumb rube all the way to Trump being inaugurated as the next POTUS.
"For a decade now, Karl Rove has been more of a wrecking ball than an architect. Republican campaign advisors like Rick Wilson consistently try to take the pulse of the American people but can't find the artery"
Great lines! And perfectly true.
