This article pretty much sums it up. The shock collar I removed sometimes gives me ghost zings, and those are fading.
When you are told you’re a terrorist for wanting a better life... when you see GOP Congress critters do nothing to stop the insanity... when government agencies work against the people instead of for them... when people from other countries are more valued than Americans... you feel like you have to defend your “side” through a ideological wall, even though your “side” is just as corrupt and not conservative... this is how tyranny takes hold.
If the GOP wants a second chance, they need to earn it. I see a few people are working for forgiveness. They need to work harder if they want a chance to redeem themselves.
And I have to work harder. Sometimes that requires not mouthing off but for a different reason.
