The explosive first Republican debate has shaken up the 2016 GOP presidential race. Whos up? Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and businesswoman Carly Fiorina. Whos down? Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.
The Democratic sides getting more interesting too, as Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders continues to make gains on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Those are just some of the highlights in the latest Fox News national poll of registered voters. First, the nomination races:
Businessman Donald Trump still leads the field for the Republican nomination. He gets 25 percent among GOP primary voters. He was at 26 percent before the debate. Trumps support among women went from 24 percent two weeks ago to 21 percent now. He mostly held steady among men (28 percent).

Other than Republican Party positions and quotes, I don’t see how Jeb Bush does better than 3rd place as they arrive at the Convention.
Go Ted!
No question that Fox News is greatly disappointed that their precious little princess Jeb Bush, didn’t fare better in the post “debate” polling.
My gut tells me that they will be working overtime to rectify that situation.
Carson 12% (+5)
Cruz 10% (+4)
... then Bush ...
The field is separating into three levels.
The numbers instead of an overly wordy article.
Trump 25
Carson 12
Cruz 10
Bush 9
Huck 6
Fiorina 5
Rubio 4
Christie 3
Kasich 4
Paul 3
Our guy Cruz is MOVING UP. The MSM will struggle to ignore this big jump by Ted.

I just watched Chuck Todd interview with Trump. They mentioned his eight page proposal, has anyone here seen it posted anywhere?
I’m loving the Cruz movement.

I know it’s a long way until convention time. But curious as to your thinking regarding
who the top three would be. I personally wouldn’t rule out Bush at this point as he’s got
tons of money and is just now beginning to spend some of it. At this time I think it will
Trump and Bush at the top but #3 I’m still pondering.
No matter what FNC or Jeb’s campaign magicians do, Jeb like hitlery just isn’t trusted and is dull as a soup spoon.
Unless Trump wakes up one morning and says “I’ve got other things I want to do”, he’s going to be difficult to stop. We just need to hope he’s going to be good for America and for our liberty.
I am not willing to cede anything to Trump.
Sure, he is saying a lot of things that resonate with people. No doubt about that.
However, if one will invest just one hour looking at his track record, they will come to the conclusion that he cannot and should not be trusted. It’s there for anybody to see.
I stand with TED CRUZ, 100%.
It is looking very good for Cruz. He is doing this very methodically and with intelligent calm reasoning is looking very presidential.
There is just ‘something’ you can’t quite put your finger on about the lack of contention between Ted and Donald. If they are conspiring, they are masters of the art.
My thinking is that Trump will see how the early Primaries pan out for him and Cruz and if the big Primaries turn out fairly equal between he and Ted, before the Convention Trump will announce that he is supporting Cruz. King making has to be a very sweet spot to be in.
Really, really think Trump loves the campaign fight, but don’t think Trump will relish the idea of having to share power with somewhat equal partners in the Congress and Court.
I wish Cruz had a helicopter to give rides,he could fry bacon on the exhaust. He might even have some door guns for doing target practice. Kids would love it!
Wake up. Jebby and Hitlary have already been chosen. You don’t think the elites are going to listen to the peons do you? It is all a Dog & Pony show.
I have long agreed with everything you say. Everything!
We still have to be realistic, juggernauts are hard to stop. Trump is on fire, those that cross him will be stomped into dust by his cheering followers.
Cruz is probably the smartest guy to ever run for POTUS, at least in our lifetime. He is playing this like a Stradivarius.
In NASCAR terms Cruz is drafting the leader, just waiting on the perfect chance to slingshot into the lead (maybe with Trump’s help).
If you throw some of Carson’s numbers and Huck’s supporters Cruz’s way he would be the front runner.
No matter what FNC or Jebs campaign magicians do, Jeb like hitlery just isnt trusted and is dull as a soup spoon.
Ditto!
