The 2016 Primary and Various Degrees of Influence…
Conservative Treehouse ^ | 8/14/15 | Sundance

Posted on 08/14/2015 11:31:10 AM PDT by jobim

Many people who have not followed the construct of the RNC/GOP plan as it originated (November/December 2013 – through the construction in May/June 2014 and end result in April ’15) are fundamentally misunderstanding the origin of the GOPe Roadmap to elect Jeb Bush....

The road map was originally contingent upon Graham, Fiorina, Perry, Rubio, Christie, Huckabee, Gilmore, Pataki and Kasich staying in the race through at least March 2nd 2016. Hence Super-PACs were established to keep them funded through the point of their usefulness.

Obviously things so far have not gone quite as planned/preferred. Specific issues messing up the plan:

*Trump entered the race. *Jeb isn’t pulling his weight; he’s not getting the 20% range needed. *The anti-Jeb sentiment is stronger than anticipated. *Rick Perry support is weaker than expected. *Rand Paul support is weaker than expected. *Media influence is weaker than expected. *The voting base is coalescing toward Donald Trump, not Jeb. *The unwashed masses are not cooperating.

Go to the link and read Sundance's posts leading up to this one. From my observation, many of our "leading political analysts" are misunderstanding this unfolding plan by the GOPe and the Chamber of Commerce. The sooner a majority of Conservatives can see through their subterfuge, the sooner we can respond in unity for the good of the Republic, which at present we hold little guarantee that we can "keep her."

Bush’s biggest problem is Hillary’s weakness.

It now looks like Dems may actually be voting in their own primaries instead of for Jeb in ours.

6 months ago I figured OpChaos 2016 would get Bush the nomination with no problem.

The shock of realizing that the Grand Old Party is against them is more than many conservatives can take.

It wasn’t easy for me to lay aside a lifetime of party loyalty. It still pains me to think about it, and part of me wants to see it change from within.

I don’t think the folks currently making the rules inside the Republican party will allow for it. They’d rather be the “honorable” opposition, doomed to permanent minority status, than have a real conservative or an outsider upset the feed trough.

In other words, the arrogance of the GOP-e has blinded them. Politicians of all sorts should spend some time working in real businesses and listening to real people outside the beltway.

If conservatives would just get their bleep together and hold a convention, prior to the primaries and outside of the GOP’s influence, we could pick one candidate to support, and roll through the primaries without the GOP even having the possibility to game us like this.

Not sure what your disapproval is about; I don’t know why people post online as they do. In his case, I know nothing about him personally, but I do know he gets to the root of issues like few others, based upon his posts at Conservative Treehouse.

You know that he won't sign his name to the stuff he writes.

They are not misunderstanding it, they are in on it.

like him or not, Trump knows their plan and is wrecking it.

No wonder they are so pissed off. He has them angry and scared and that is why they are failing.

Big difference.

“They’d rather be the “honorable” opposition, doomed to permanent minority status,”

Getting all the perks of being a Washington insider, country clubs, parties, social events is definitely incentive for them to remain the “honorable” opposition.

His “articles” are high level strategic analyses of political game theory and have yet to meet a superior analysis. Perhaps you could take a crack at it instead of criticizing him for not using his real name.

Why not tell us where you think he is mistaken instead?

I thought not.

Sounds like you got a bit of butt-kissing going on.

Perhaps you could take a crack at it instead of criticizing him for not using his real name.

Quote me a price. If homedance can expect to be paid for his opinion then so can I.

Why not tell us where you think he is mistaken instead?

He is an anonymous blogger and mistaken in his belief that he has any relevance.

I thought not.

You trot off and think anything you like.

Yeah, ok.

Why not say how he is wrong? And then post your real name to prove how valid is your criticism.

I have no doubt you did not even read the article past the first sentence and cannot understand what he is saying.

Best wishes.

Keep posting anything from SUNDANCE. He has taken the time to work up a full deconstruction of the GOPe strategy and has been proven correct in his predictions at every step.

I like the fact that he recognizes the unexpected “black swan” effect of Trump, and i am very interested in his thoughts as things move forward.

Thank you for this post
