Addressing about 2,000 very enthusiastic people at the Birch Run Expo Center, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump touched on everything from immigration, China, the military, Obamacare and his Republican opponents.
The crowd, some coming from outside of Michigan, ate it up, giving him frequent standing ovations and breaking into chants of "Trump, Trump, Trump!" and "U.S.A, U.S.A."
"I love people, I love this country. We are going to make it so strong and so powerful," he said. "You are going to love a President Trump."

I love Trump in a lot of ways but he points in the wrong direction for the source of our economic woes. WHO is REALLY stealing our jobs and economic advantages? NOT China, NOT Mexico, NOT Japan. THE THIEF is the $4 TRILLION MOSTLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL FEDERAL GOVERNMENT and its unconstitutional interference with our market economy.
The things that destroy jobs here and send them elsewhere are unconstitutional federal interference such as minimum wage, union protection, high corporate taxes (no such thing - it’s a tax on you and I because tax is an added business expense passed along in higher prices to you and I, the consumer), and monstrous and costly regulations. We need LESS GOVERNMENT and a FREE MARKET ECONOMY which is the key to wealth as Adam Smith wrote about 250 years ago and America proved in the 1800’s.

Aw wrestling is all choreographed. Former student of mine stopped by to show the kids how to perform some of the tricks. They loved it and became bigger fans. Like trying to figure out how to create magic, they were hooked and in turned hooked their children male and female. Like those who were nascar colors they support their favorite wrestler. Make for some great fun pretend fight instead of shooting people on the streets

I have mixed feelings about Trump’s candidacy, but I do credit him with opening up the public “conversation” about issues that the GOPe are loathe to discuss and I like his chutzpah and directness. I do believe that he’ll be around for a while - - and may go all the way.

Trump/Palin a winning combo. Ford bailed on the Mexico Plant saving jobs for autoworkers! The guy isn’t even in the nominations choice and he’s saving jobs. Imagine what he could do in the White House! He is lucky and is riding the wave (as we say in California—in Hollywoodville). Obama tried to play a rock star—Trump is a star.
I believe Trump is right - we would again be proud to be Americans. And it’s been a long time since I even felt that - Bush let himself be trashed and in so doing he let us be trashed too. Not to mention that he was too GOPe.
I think that ISIS is partly fueled by males wanting to win which I see as a natural male trait - females too but to a lesser extent usually.
This has been deleted from our national demeanor by misguided feminists, too many bleeding hearts for the gays, and beta males - especially POTUS.

I agree. Dominant males want to win. Dominant females want to attach themselves to winners and give birth to winners. That's basic.
