Watch What Ted Cruz Does with this Question About Sodomites in America
Freedom Outpost ^ | 8/11/2015 | Tim Brown

Posted on 08/12/2015 4:39:13 AM PDT by HomerBohn

Though I believe Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is constitutionally ineligible to hold the office of President, that doesn't mean that the man doesn't say a lot of right things, because he does. The video response below is an excellent response when it comes to being asked about hatred or animosity towards those who engage in the sinful and criminal act of sodomy.

The exchange occurred earlier this year, but this was the first I saw of it and think it is a great response not just for those running for office who claim to be Christians, but for all Christians who recognize what sodomy is.

Here is how the conversation went down at a campaign stop in Beaumont, TX on May 19. KMBT-TV's Kevin Steele was the reporter.

(Watch video of Ted at link)

SEN. TED CRUZ: Let me ask a question: Is there something about the left, and I am going to put the media in this category, that is obsessed with sex? Why is it the only question you want to ask concerns homosexuals? Okay, you can ask those questions over and over and over again. I recognize that you're reading questions from MSNBC... You're wincing. You don't want to talk about foreign policy. I recognize you want to ask another question about gay rights. Well, you know. ISIS is executing homosexuals. You want to talk about gay rights? This week was a very bad week for gay rights because the expansion of ISIS, the expansion of radical, theocratic, Islamic zealots that crucify Christians, that behead children and that murder homosexuals. That ought to be concerning you far more than asking six questions all on the same topic.

REPORTER: Do you have a personal animosity against gay Americans?

CRUZ: Do you have a personal animosity against Christians, sir? Your line of questioning is highly curious. You seem fixated on a particular subject. Look, I'm a Christian. Scripture commands us to love everybody and what I have been talking about, with respect to same-sex "marriage," is the Constitution which is what we should all be focused on. The Constitution gives marriage to elected state legislators. It doesn't give the power of marriage to a president, or to unelected judges to tear down the decisions enacted by democratically elected state legislatures.

I vehemently disagree with the author regarding Sen. Cruz's citizenship credentials.

Jesus told those who sinned, go and sin no more. Homosexuals and lesbians just keep buggering each other's brains out to the point of infection and premature death. They are anathema to a society that desperately needs a return to a normal and polite state.

They continually demonstrate that what they do to each other's bodies and minds does indeed become society's business.

The awesomeness of Ted Cruz never ceases to impress me! I haven’t wanted anyone this bad for president since Reagan.

Don’t bring a liberal mindset to a Cruz fight.

Ineligibility is a non issue, it is part of Obama’s legacy.

Cruz is so brilliant and calmly articulate. If given the airtime America could see that. That is why the MSM ignores him.

I was born in North Carolina many years ago. My son was born Christmas day 2014 in Udon Thani, Thailand. He is as natural born citizen as I am and I got the passport and birth certificate to prove it......

You lost me at sodomite and Cruz being ineligible. One seems a little over compensatory (hmmm) and the other is just a tangent that’s not going to win the day period.

Besides, I saw this when it happened. Yes, it was impressive. Cruz almost always is.

Those who don’t like Ted Cruz don’t know him.

The media has painted a caricature of Ted. As he gains exposure as the debates go on, he will rise to the top.

I believe Cruz would be much improved over Reagan, who was quite accommodating to the gop-e.

Jesus told those who sinned, go and sin no more.

*****************************************************

The declared and impenitent homosexual, [is a] person who, through an act of the vermiculate will, has identified his person with a sin, whether he demands acceptance of his sin through “love,” or vindication through identification of his perceived enemies as bigots. Whether he presents himself as an object of love or indignation, what he demands in either case is acceptance not of the person, but of the sin-bound and sin-defined person. He demands the declaration of spiritual authority that there is nothing objectively disordered about this binding of man to sin, and assurance that this monstrous amalgam can indeed enter the kingdom of heaven. This can never happen among Christians until they abandon Christianity .....

I believe you are correct.

President Reagan was great.

When Reagan came into office things were bad. Today things are much worse. It will take someone like Cruz to do what needs to be done. We are blessed to have him in the running.

Who is tim brown and what makes him a Constitutional expert? I couldn't care less what he 'believes'.

Since Obama’s presidency, the eligibility requirement is a moot point. Now ANYONE can occupy the White House. There’s hope and change for you.

The constitutional eligibility of Cruz was settled when they allowed the usurper to take office on January 20, 2009. That is not the interpretation I would have applied to the applicable clause, but if a hateful communist allegedly born to a US citizen mother but raised overseas can take that office, a real American who was born in Canada to a US citizen mother and raised in the USA with American values is certainly eligible as well.

The question is whether Cruz is the best person for the job. That answer is clear: Yes!

You are supposed to care about Tim brown. He resurrects this months old story that btw we have all seen in order to snark about senator cruz’s credentials.

Tim brown is more well versed on the constitution than mark levin and Ted Cruz. Ted Cruz who fought and won nine Supreme Court cases

Tim
Brown knows more

And then we have to scroll rthrough nasty obscene posts in an attempt to see if this nasty time wasting Tim brown has any credentials no he does not

This story is from May

Meanwhile we are in awe and adoration over trumps promise to make the trains run on time

That should frighten everyone but it does not
