I too love Rush and having listened to his show for many years for his political insights and natural wit, I also belive he may not be saved though his brother and his mom both are avowed bible beliving Christians. Rush is a wonderful man but may be caught in the devils trap of saved by good works, a trap that has ensnared so many people through the centuries but is unbiblical and thereby untrue. The simplicity of Christ is simply beliving unto salvation as the father of the faith, Abraham, the first Hebrew, did when God called him to go to a land he did not own but was promised unto him and to his children forever. And he went in faith beliving God, and God counted his faith as rightiousness. The just shall live by faith and Abraham and all saved Christians are saved by grace through faith, it this dispensation, in the finished work of God by Christ Jesus who was crucified for our sins and who rose from the dead on the third day, the first fruit of God unto eternal life His ressurected body; whom we will follow as God the Father of Israel had predetermined before the foundation of the world. Praise God the Fahter through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, the Holy Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are the children of the living God.

Apparently some think it’s Donald Trump... I know Donald Trump thinks so.

We should know Rush by his fruits. He has brought forth good fruit in abundance. He stands on Biblical principles. He speaks up for the unborn.

Rush is the last person I would worry about.

Ir makes no difference whether or not Rush Limbaugh shares the faith that you have in God and Jesus Christ (as I do). While conservative politics embrace faith, one’s lack of it does not exclude them from participation in a political war, the outcome of which will determine the fortunes of our children for generations to come.

Did I stumble into the Religion forum instead of New/Activism?. . .Whether Rush is in Christ or not is a personal issue for those who actually know him, prayer for him and who he trusts. . .Why don’t you just pray for him instead of assuming he’s the devil’s meat. . .just pray that the right people can lead him with love. . .which will probably not be you. . .by the way. . I think God has used Rush Limbaugh in a mighty way. .and I have no doubt that, if not saved, God has a plan to get him there. . .

If Rush is not saved then we should pray he reads this thread and the Holy Ghost move upon his heart to seek salvation through Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone.

Today Rush. Right now; right where you are; just as you are.

Amen.

Keep praying him...God’s wooing him...his brother is a great influence...I thought he was gonna cry when he talked several times about aborted babies.

God is pulling him bit by bit...the least of these. Actually the same with Glenn Beck who is an unsaved Mormon...Glenn has done more for the gospel than many Christians.

Your intentions are good but don't you think his brother, David is up to that task?

Please use the correct forum next time.

Determining the state of Rush’s salvation is way above your pay grade. And you should know that.

Rush’s brother David is born again, and makes no bones about it. I know he has witnessed to his little brother about his need of a Savior. Several years ago something was said that led me to believe that Rush had made a decision for Christ and was now a believer. Of course, if true, Rush would not blat it about and discuss it on the air.

Also, even if he has trusted Christ, he really needs Christian teaching and fellowship with other believers if he is to grow and mature in the Lord. You can’t get what you need on the golf course on a Sunday morning. Rush would be far too proud, I think, to ever attend a church or worship center where he could receive some spiritual food on a regular basis.

That stuff was O.K. for even the Reagans, who attended church in California, but not Rush. Therefore, even if he once called on Christ for Salvation, he’ll probably never grow and will remain a comparative spiritual baby. IMHO.

I’m pretty sure Rush has probably heard the gospel many times. Whether or not he has responded to it, I can’t say. At any rate, I doubt he would ever use his radio show to evangelize.

I don't know about Rush's salvation. I think he places too much emphasis on politics being that answer, but that is what his show is about.

I do know that putting blind faith in Republicans turning things around has failed - completely and miserably.

David Limbaugh is saved by Christ.

In several interviews I have heard with David, he directly cited the absolutely brilliant Dr. Ravi Zacharias as being a primary contributor to his conversion.

If you have listened between the lines over the years you will notice that Rush is not the same Rush he was a decade ago. I believe that while he has probably always been a believer, he is becoming a Believer. He doesn’t discuss faith much on air directly, but indirectly he does if you are listening, and I believe God is working on him. God has his number.

Just because Rush is famous doesn't mean you should call him out in public.

Pray for him but don't embarrass him.

If all “The Ignorant Fisherman” is going on is Rush’s radio show, then I believe that he needs to go visit Rush and inquire. Rush is doing a political radio show, he is NOT doing a religious revival show. I’ve listened to him for 20+ years and I will NOT make a judgement on the state of his soul and his faith.

Methinks the ignorantfisherman has gone bonkers with worrying about Rush because “there ain’t no real evidence of his relationship with God”. One can spew the words w/o being saved and one who is saved can talk and act as if he never heard of God and Jesus.
